Tu Yaa Main is an upcoming 2026 Indian Hindi-language survival thriller film directed by Bejoy Nambiar. [1] Produced by Aanand L. Rai and Himanshu Sharma under the banner of Colour Yellow Productions in association with Getaway Films and Bhanushali Studios, the film stars Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor in lead roles. [2] It is an official remake of the 2018 Thai film The Pool . [3] [4]
The film is scheduled to release in theaters on 13 February 2026, coinciding with Valentine's Day weekend.
Maruti (Adarsh Gourav), a rapper from Nalasopara, and Avani Shah (Shanaya Kapoor), a high-profile influencer known as "Miss Vanity," are two content creators from vastly different socio-economic backgrounds. During a collaboration getaway at a secluded estate, they find themselves trapped in an empty, deep swimming pool with a deadly crocodile. The film follows their desperate struggle for survival as they must outwit the predator and overcome their own rivalries to escape. [5] [6]
The film was announced in early 2025 as a "romantic survival thriller." Director Bejoy Nambiar chose to film certain sequences at a crocodile farm in Thailand, utilizing a combination of real crocodiles, animatronics, and VFX for the predator scenes. [6] The film marks the second big-screen appearance for Shanaya Kapoor and continues Adarsh Gourav's streak of genre-diverse roles. [7]
The soundtrack is notable for its heavy influence of underground Indian hip-hop. Adarsh Gourav, who is also a trained singer, recorded three songs for the film, including the rap track "Naam Karu Bada," produced by Sez on the Beat. [8] The track "Fame Us," performed by the Mumbai-based collective 7Bantai'Z, was released as the lead single in January 2026. [9]
Tu Yaa Main is scheduled to be released theatrically on 13 February 2026, coinciding with the Valentine's Day weekend. [10]
