Colour Yellow Productions was founded in 2011 by Aanand L. Rai. [1] The company has produced successful films that include the Tanu Weds Manu franchise (2011, 2015), the Happy Bhag Jayegi franchise (2016, 2018), Raanjhanaa (2013), Nil Battey Sannata (2016), Manmarziyaan (2018), Tumbbad (2018), Zero (2018), Laal Kaptaan (2019), Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan (2020) and Haseen Dillruba (2021), Atrangi Re (2022).

Upcoming projects

Colour Yellow Production is set to produce Good Luck Jerry starring Janhvi Kapoor collaborating with Lyca Productions and Raksha Bandhan starring Akshay Kumar both ventures to be directed by Rai.

Madhavan, Kangana Ranaut, Jimmy Sheirgill, Deepak Dobriyal, Swara Bhaskar, and Eijaz Khan reprise their roles from the original film. Ranaut also portrays an additional role of a Haryanvi athlete in the sequel. The story, screenplay and the dialogues were written by Himanshu Sharma. The soundtrack and film score were composed by Krsna Solo and the lyrics were penned by Rajshekhar. Saroj Khan and Bosco–Caesar were the film's choreographers while the editing was done by Hemal Kothari.

Rai and produced by Colour Yellow Productions in collaboration with Red Chillies Entertainment. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, and Katrina Kaif, while Anushka Sharma, Abhay Deol, R. Madhavan and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub in important supporting cast. The plot revolves around Bauua Singh, a short man from Meerut who, after having difficulty finding a marriage partner, finds a companion in Aafia Bhinder, a NSAR scientist with cerebral palsy. However, film superstar Babita also gets close with him, testing his first relationship, before this love triangle takes them to far-off cities, thrusting Bauua into an adventure to discover both his true love and completeness in a life lived to the fullest.

Tanu Weds Manu is the soundtrack album composed by Krsna Solo in his film debut as a music director. The 2011 romantic comedy film directed by Aanand L. Rai starred R. Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut. The album consisted of seven tracks with lyrics written by Raj Shekhar. It was released under the T-Series label on 4 February 2011, to positive reviews and Krsna won the Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent.

Tanu Weds Manu Returns is the soundtrack album to the 2015 film of the same name directed by Aanand L. Rai, starring R. Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut in dual roles; it is the sequel to Tanu Weds Manu (2011). The film's soundtrack is composed by Krsna Solo and Tanishk–Vayu, with lyrics written by Raj Shekhar, Vayu Shrivastav, N.S. Chauhan and Surjeet Singh Ral. The album was released through Eros Music on 1 May 2015 to positive reviews from critics and received numerous accolades.
