Tub Ring was formed in 1992 by Jason Fields, Kevin Gibson, Chris "Mouse" Blake, and Geoff Valker as a high school experimental rock band. After the passing of their manager, Lee Swanson in 1994, the lineup changed and took form with the addition of keyboardist Rob Kleiner. Kleiner spent his teenage years following around the band Mr. Bungle. With Kleiner added to the band, Tub Ring adopted a similar sound to that of Mr. Bungle. Mr. Bungle guitarist Trey Spruance took note of Kleiner's passion and creativity and ended up producing their first official full-length album, Drake Equation. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, Tub Ring, associated with the bands Dog Fashion Disco and Mindless Self Indulgence. Aforementioned musical collaborations include when Rob Kleiner filled in for Mindless Self Indulgence's injured guitarist (Steve, Righ?) on the road in 2004 and 2005. On December 10, 2005, Tub Ring came in second place during MTV2's "Dew Circuit Breakout" competition. Tub Ring performed two songs throughout the competition, including "Future Was Free" as well as a cover of Justin Timberlake's "Rock Your Body". On October 17, 2006, it was announced on experimental metal/rock record label The End Records's official website that the band had signed with them. The band released their album, The Great Filter, in May 2007. On August 31, 2010, Tub ring released their fifth studio album, Secret Handshakes. On October 31, 2016, an announcement was made on the Tub Ring Facebook page that they would be releasing the best of album and a brand-new EP in May 2017 backed by a Kickstarter campaign. On November 2, the Kickstarter goal had been reached, and the band later confirmed that they would release a new full-length album instead of an EP. The album, titled A Choice of Catastrophes, was released on September 8, 2017.
The band have toured frequently over the years and have shared the stage with acts such as: Pigface, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, The Birthday Massacre, Daiquiri, Estradasphere, Screaming Mechanical Brain, Foxy Shazam, Clutch, Southcott, Mindless Self Indulgence, Dog Fashion Disco, Framing Hanley, Black Light Burns, Horse the Band, Plain White T's, Kill Hannah, Wesley Willis, and more.
Tub Ring are known for their energetic stage shows, purportedly intense enough to result in injury to the performers (for example, incorporating a tazer). [1]
In January 2008, the band was invited to perform at the Sundance Film Festival as part of a Green Initiative sponsored event.
On a tour in 2008, Darren Keen played second guitar, for an impromptu set with Tub Ring in Houston, Texas. Later that year, while on tour with Mindless Self Indulgence, the band recruited Curtis Rx of the band Creature Feature to also play second guitar for a select portion of dates.
The 2010 tour for the album Secret Handshakes included Patrik Windsor on guitar, and Sean Motley on drums.
In 2005, Rob Kleiner released his first solo album, No Eyes. On February 13, 2007, he released his second, and latest solo EP, Doctor Sleep. He is also a part of video game rock duo Super 8 Bit Brothers. In addition to his solo work, he's one of the main contributing members of Edison's Arm, and has scored several films, including Ending The Eternal, the feature documentary Working Class Rock Star, and Steve Balderson's films Watch Out as well as Stuck!.

Mr. Bungle is an American experimental rock band formed in Eureka, California, in 1985. Having gone through many incarnations throughout its career, the band is best known for its experimental rock period. During this time, it developed a highly eclectic style, cycling through several musical genres, often within the course of a single song, including heavy metal, avant-garde jazz, ska, disco, and funk, further enhanced by lead vocalist Mike Patton's versatile singing style. This period also saw the band utilizing unconventional song structures and samples; playing a wide array of instruments; dressing up in masks, jumpsuits, and other costumes; and performing a diverse selection of cover songs during live performances.
Mindless Self Indulgence is an American electropunk band formed in New York City in 1997. Their music has a mixed style which includes punk rock, alternative rock, electronica, techno, industrial, hip hop, and breakbeat hardcore.
Preston Lea "Trey" Spruance III is an American composer, producer, and musician who co-founded the experimental rock band Mr. Bungle. He is also leader of the multi-genre outfit Secret Chiefs 3. Originally a guitarist and trumpeter, in the early 90s Spruance began playing vintage electronic organs, analog synthesizers, saz, santur, electric sitar, tar, and various other string and percussion instruments. In the mid 90s he founded Forking Paths Studio where his production techniques were applied to Mr. Bungle and Secret Chiefs 3 records among many others. Since 2007 Spruance's Secret Chiefs 3 has been a very active live entity, performing well over 500 shows in more than 50 countries.
Disco Volante is the second studio album by American experimental rock band Mr. Bungle. It was released on October 10, 1995, through Warner Bros., and is often considered their most experimental album, mixing elements from such varied styles as death metal, jazz, Arabic music, musique concrète, easy listening, klezmer, and tango.
Dog Fashion Disco is an American heavy metal band from Rockville, Maryland, that was originally active from 1995 to 2007 before disbanding. The band officially reunited in October 2013.
Clinton "Bär" McKinnon is an American musician, perhaps best known for being a saxophonist in the San Francisco-based band Mr. Bungle.
Drake Equation is the debut album by the band Tub Ring, released on June 12, 2001. It was produced by Mr. Bungle guitarist, Trey Spruance.
Morningwood was an alternative rock band from New York City. Founded in 2001, it primarily consisted of Pedro Yanowitz and Chantal Claret. Morningwood was signed to Capitol Records and released two albums. Claret went solo in 2012 and folded the band.
Bad Acid Trip is an American metal band currently signed to System of a Down lead singer Serj Tankian's record label Serjical Strike Records. Their 2004 album, Lynch the Weirdo, was produced by Daron Malakian, another System of a Down member. In 2006, they performed on the second stage at the Ozzfest summer tour. The band has three full-length releases and multiple EPs.

Apse was an American rock band signed to the UK label ATP Recordings and Spanish label Acuarela Discos. The band moved through many different musical styles since its inception, weaving together at various times shoegazer, Heavy Metal, gothic rock, post-punk, prog-rock, industrial, and post-rock influences; while at the same time working in experimental, ambient and ethereal atmospheres. The most common lyrical themes had to do with spirituality, relationships with others, paranoia, power, and control.
The Esoteric is an American metalcore band founded in 1996 from Lawrence, Kansas. They are currently signed to Prosthetic Records. Following several self-produced EPs, the band's debut full-length, With the Sureness of Sleepwalking, came out on Prosthetic Records in 2005. Their follow-up, Subverter, was released on Prosthetic in 2006, and received good reception from online blogs and music magazines.
Suicide City is an American punk rock band from Brooklyn, New York City, founded in 2005. The band's original lineup consisted of lead vocalist Karl Bernholtz, rhythm guitarist Billy Graziadei, lead guitarist AJ Marchetta, bassist Jennifer Arroyo, and drummer Danny Lamagna.
Robert Francis "Rob" Kleiner II is an American songwriter and producer. Kleiner received degrees in music composition and philosophy at Eastern Illinois University. He went on to direct and score the film Andalusian Doug: Academic Freedom vs. Religious Conservatism, a documentary about the controversial teaching methods of his music professor, Douglas DiBianco. Between 1997 and 2011, he was a touring member of Tub Ring and Super 8-Bit Brothers, and an occasional fill-in for Mindless Self Indulgence.
Secret Handshakes is Chicago rock-band Tub Ring's 6th album, and their second on The End Records. The CD was released on August 31, 2010. The album breaks several patterns of previous Tub Ring albums. For the first time, the title is unrelated to SETI and contains no "Robot" track. The predominant color of the album cover is red, in contrast to many earlier albums and promo shots which prominently featured blue.
The One, The Only... is the debut album of musician Chantal Claret, released on June 19, 2012 by The End Records and was recorded at Studio Edison in New York. "The Pleasure Seeker - EP" appears in the gallery of the iPod Classic on Apple's US site.
How I Learned to Stop Giving a Shit and Love Mindless Self Indulgence is the fifth and most recent studio album by Mindless Self Indulgence. The album was funded through a Kickstarter campaign started on October 25, 2012, which reached its goal on December 24, 2012. After several demos were released via YouTube, the album began production. The cover art and track listing were released for people who had backed the campaign on March 12, 2013. Digital downloads from Kickstarter were released on March 13, 2013. The official album release occurred on May 14, 2013. The album was released through Metropolis Records with a bonus track; a cover of Supertramp's "The Logical Song". The name of the record is a reference to the film Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb and a reflection of the band "being themselves and loving the work that they do".

Minutes to Midnight World Tour was the fourth concert tour by American rock band Linkin Park. It was launched in support of Linkin Park's third studio album, Minutes to Midnight (2007). Linkin Park Underground the official fan club of the band released a live album as a part of their annual releases named as LP Underground 7.0. It consisted of the live performances of the shows across the 2007-Minutes to Midnight tour.
