The Tung Chung line is one of the ten lines of the MTR system in Hong Kong, linking the town of Tung Chung with central Hong Kong. A part of the Tung Chung line was built along with the Kap Shui Mun Bridge and the Tsing Ma Bridge. The line currently travels through eight stations in 31 minutes along its route. The line is coloured orange on the map.
Kwun Yam Beach, also known as Afternoon Beach, is a gazetted beach facing Kwun Yam Wan on the east coast of Cheung Chau, Hong Kong. The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), is a department in the Government of Hong Kong. It reports to the Culture, Sports & Tourism Bureau, headed by the Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism. It provides leisure and cultural activities for the people of Hong Kong, which was also one of the tasks of the former Urban Council, and Regional Council and Home Affairs Bureau. It manages various public facilities around Hong Kong including public libraries, swimming pools, and sports centres. The well-known Hong Kong Cultural Centre and Hong Kong Space Museum are among several museums also managed by the department. It was established in 2000 and its headquarters is in Shatin, New Territories.

Hsu Kuo-tung is a Taiwanese former swimmer, who specialized in individual medley events. Hsu competed only in the men's 400 m individual medley at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. He achieved a FINA B-cut of 4:35.33 from the National University Games in Taipei. He challenged four other swimmers in heat one, including Hong Kong's Alex Fong, who turned out into one of city's popular singers, and Tunisia's 16-year-old Oussama Mellouli, who later became an Olympic champion in long-distance freestyle (2008) and open water (2012). He opened up his race to register a fourth-place time of 4:42.78, finishing behind Mellouli by almost a full second, and Fong, the winner of his heat, by more than 13 seconds. Hsu failed to reach the top 8 final, as he placed forty-fourth overall in the prelims.
Cheung Chau Tung Wan Beach is a gazetted beach facing Tung Wan on the east coast of Cheung Chau, Hong Kong. The beach is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong Government. The beach is 230 metres long and is rated as Grade 1 by the Environmental Protection Department for its water quality. It is one of the two beaches in Cheung Chau along with Kwun Yam Beach and the beach is the largest in the island.
