Vasas SC Sports club in Hungary

Vasas SC is one of Hungary's major sports clubs. Most of its facilities are situated in Budapest's 13th district in the north of the town. Members of the Hungarian Union of Iron Workers founded the club as Vas-és Fémmunkások Sport Clubja, the "Sport Club of Iron and Metal Workers", on 16 March 1911. The club colours are red and blue.

Dunaújváros FC Hungarian football club

Dunaújváros FC was a football team from Dunaújváros, Hungary. Though they won the Hungarian NB I in 1999–2000, recently they played in the second league, until the team withdrew in March 2009, ceasing its operations.

Péter Rusorán was a Hungarian swimmer, water polo player and later water polo coach. As a player, he won the Olympic Games gold medal in 1964 and the bronze in 1960 and also obtained the Universiade title in 1965. As a coach, Rusorán won a number of national league titles both in Hungary and abroad and also triumphed on two occasions in the most prestigious continental competition, the European Champions Cup.

Vasas SC (womens handball)

Vasas-Angyalföldi Sportiskola is a Hungarian women's handball team. It is part of the Budapest-based multi-sports club Vasas SC. One of the most successful teams in the country, they have won the Hungarian championship a record 15 times and in 1982 they were also crowned as the European Champions Cup winners.

Magyar Kupa is the main domestic cup for Hungarian women's team handball clubs, which is organized and supervised by the Hungarian Handball Federation. The competition is held annually, starting in September and concluding in April. The teams play in a one-leg knockout system with a final four tournament in the end. The winner of the Hungarian cup get the right to participate in the next year's EHF Cup Winners' Cup, unless they secure a place in the EHF Champions League. If happens so, then the runners-up take the opportunity to represent Hungary in the forthcoming continental event for cup winners.

Országos Bajnokság I is the highest level water polo league for men in Hungary, that is administered and supervised by the Hungarian Water Polo Federation. Since 2009, after signed a four-year sponsorship contract with telecommunications company Vodafone, the competition is officially known as Vodafone OB I.

Budapesti Honvéd SE (mens basketball)

Budapesti Honvéd SE is a basketball club based in Budapest, Hungary. With 33 Hungarian Championships and 17 Hungarian Cups won from the 1950s to the 1990s, it is the most successful team in the Hungarian national basketball league. The club was relegated from the 1st division in 2001, but continued as an amateur club in the 3rd division. Since 2004 they have played in the 2nd division.
