Turun Suunnistajat is a Finnish orienteering club, located in Turku. The club was established in 1954. [1]

Turun Suunnistajat won the men's Jukola relay in 1994, [2] 1996, [3] and 2001, [4] and the women's Jukola (the Venla relay) in 2002. [5] The club won Tiomila in 1994 (men's relay) and in 2003 (women's relay). Notable orienteers who have competed for the club include Petri Forsman, Janne Salmi, Troy de Haas, Jørgen Rostrup, Vroni König-Salmi, Terhi Holster, and Simone Niggli-Luder.

The name Jukola is a family name in the classic Finnish novel, "Seven Brothers". The women's relay, known as the Venla Relay, is a daytime race on the Saturday afternoon. It is named after the main female character from the novel.

Janne Juhani Salmi is a Finnish orienteering competitor and world champion. He won the short distance at the 1997 World Orienteering Championships, and a gold medal in the relay at the 2001 World Orienteering Championships. He won a total of three individual world championship medals and four relay medals, and won the Jukola relay three times with the club Turun Suunnistajat.

Carl Henrik Bjørseth is a Norwegian orienteering competitor. He received a silver medal in the classic course at the 1999 World Orienteering Championships, and a bronze medal in 2001. He received a silver medal in the relay event in 2001, together with Bernt Bjørnsgaard, Tore Sandvik and Bjørnar Valstad.

Topi Anjala is a Finnish orienteering competitor. He represented Finland at the 2009 World Orienteering Championships in Miskolc, where he placed 15th in the long distance, and won a bronze medal in the relay, together with Tero Föhr and Mats Haldin. His career best personal best is seventh place in the long distance at the 2008 World Championships in the Czech Republic. Anjala has won the Jukola relay in 2016 and 2018.

Marius Bjugan is a Norwegian orienteering competitor. He won a gold medal in the middle distance at the 2001 Junior World Orienteering Championships in Miskolc.

Angelniemen Ankkuri is an orienteering club in Salo, Finland. It was founded in 1946 as club for sports and gymnastics, but nowadays it has only orienteering. Its members have won 17 medals in Finnish championships. It has won Tiomila, the Venla relay and the Jukola relay.
