Twinkle Sohail (born: c.1998) is a Pakistani weightlifter. [1]
She has four sisters including Maryam, Sybil and Veronica all of whom are weightlifters. Throughout her career, she has been coached by Rashid Malik and Muhammad Zahid. She [2] belongs to the Christian community of Pakistan.
Sohail initiated her professional sporting career as a cyclist and later switched to weightlifting as her coach identified special talent in her for this sport.
Sohail represents Pakistan Railways in national competitions. [3] In November 2019, she won gold in the 76kg category at the National Games held in Peshawar. [3]
Sohail, with her teammates, Sybil Sohail and Saniha Ghafoor brought a total of 12 gold medals [4] to Pakistan by participating in the International Oceania Pacific Powerlifting Championship [5] held in Singapore in 2017. She has also earned a gold medal in 57th category at Bench Press Competition held in Muscat, Oman. This contest had 148 participants representing 14 different countries. She became the first woman to represent her country in the championship [6] and the first to bring back gold. In December 2019, she along with her younger sister, Veronica, participated in the 13th South Asian Games held in Kathmandu, Nepal. [7] [8]

She has set 11 senior world records in her career.

Mabia Akhter Simanta is a Bangladeshi weightlifter. She was born in Madaripur. She won gold medal in the women's 63 kg weight class at the 2016 South Asian Games at Guwahati. She also won a gold in youth section and two silver medals in senior & juniors section in the Commonwealth Weightlifting Championship in Pune, India in October 2015 in the women's 63 kg category. She lifted a total weight of 176 kg in winning the gold medal.
Minhal Sohail is a Pakistani sport shooter. In 2016, she became the first female shooter to represent her country at the Olympics when she participated in the Rio Games. She competes in the 10 metre Air Rifle category.

Talha Talib is a Pakistani weightlifter from Gujranwala. He is the Pakistani national champion in the 62 kg category. He set a new record at the games in snatch as he lifted 132 kg in the third attempt with 127 kg and 130 kg in the first two attempts, respectively. He was also a gold medalist at the 2016 Commonwealth Youth Weightlifting Championships in Penang. He lifted 258 kg to clinch the gold. He is currently the top No. 1 ranked weightlifter of Pakistan.
Pakistan competed in the 2019 South Asian Games in Kathmandu and Pokhara, Nepal from 1 to 10 December 2019. It participated in Tennis, Table Tennis, Athletics, Handball, Taekwondo, Kabbadi, Badminton, Swimming, Karate, Wrestling, Weightlifting, Boxing, Squash, Volleyball, Judo and Wushu.
The Pakistan women's national shooting team represents Pakistan in international shooting competitions. It is administered by the National Rifle Association of Pakistan (NRAP). In 2016, Minhal Sohail became the first woman sports shooter from Pakistan to compete at the Summer Olympic Games when she participated on a quota place at the Rio Games.
Rukhsana Parveen also spelled Rukhsana Perveen is a female boxer from Pakistan. In 2016, she along with two other team mates became the first women boxers from Pakistan to compete in an international competition when they participated at the South Asian Games in Guwahati, India. She was also included in the first ever team sent to the Asian Games.
Shahida Abbasi is a Pakistani karateka. She is the first Pakistani woman to compete internationally in kata.
Moqaddas Ashraf is a Pakistani professional squash player. As of November 2020, she is ranked number 133 in the world.
Mahassen Hala Fattouh is a Lebanese Olympic weightlifter. She represented Lebanon at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. She competed in the women's 76 kg event, finishing 9th overall. She holds 9 Lebanese national records across the 64kg, 71kg, and 76kg weight classes and has earned 14 IWF international medals.
Maximina Uepa is a weightlifter from Nauru. She won the bronze medal in the women's 76 kg event at the 2022 Commonwealth Games held in Birmingham, England. She is the current Nauruan women's record-holder in the 71 kg category for overall, snatch and clean and jerk.
