Tyrone Theophile (born 12 August 1989) is a Dominican cricketer who plays for the Windward Islands in West Indian domestic cricket. He plays as a right-handed opening batsman,and occasionally keeps wicket for the team.
A former Windwards under-19s player,Theophile made his senior debut for the team during the 2009–10 Regional Four Day Competition. [1] He did not make his maiden first-class half-century until the 2012–13 season,when he hit 54 against the Combined Campuses and Colleges. [2] Theophile finished the 2014–15 season with 689 runs from his ten matches,placing him behind only his teammate Devon Smith for runs scored in the competition. [3] His season included two centuries –125 against Barbados and 136 against Trinidad and Tobago. [1]
In February 2018,he scored his first century in List A cricket,batting for the Windward Islands against Guyana,in the semi-final of the 2017–18 Regional Super50 tournament. [4]
Devon Sheldon Smith is a former cricketer who featured as an opening or top order left-handed batsman. He played for the West Indies and for the Windward Islands in regional tournaments. Smith is also,with a sum of 11,321 runs,the highest runscorer in the history of West Indian first class cricket competitions.
The Regional Four Day Competition,formerly known as the Shell Shield,Red Stripe,Busta and Carib Beer Cup,is the West Indies's first-class cricket competition that's run by Cricket West Indies. In the 2013–2014 season the winner of the tournament was awarded the WICB President's Trophy while the winners of the knockout competition were awarded the George Headley/Everton Weekes trophy. In a few previous seasons the winners of the tournament were awarded the Headley/Weekes trophy. On from the 2016–17 season,the Competition was sponsored by Digicel and was known as the Digicel Four Day Championship. Since 2019–20,the competition has been renamed as the West Indies Championship.

The tournament took place in February 2021 in Antigua and Barbuda. Six teams competed in the tournament –Barbados,Guyana,Jamaica,the Leeward Islands,Trinidad and Tobago,and the Windward Islands. The West Indies Emerging Team won the previous edition of the competition.
