UNAM Wolves is a Namibian basketball club based in Windhoek. The team is affiliated with the University of Namibia and began competitive play in 2012, [1] as the UNAM Rebels. The Wolves play in the KBA Premier League, the nation's premier league that is organised by the Khomas Basketball Association.
The Wolves won the KBA Independence Cup in 2022. [2] As winners, they played in the Road to BAL tournament in October 2023, becoming the second Namibian team to play in the competition, after Lions. [3]

The Nigerian Premier Basketball League, often abbreviated to the NPL, is the pre-eminent men's professional basketball league in Nigeria. The league consists of sixteen teams who are categorized into two conferences based on the geographical location. These conferences are Savannah and the Atlantic.

While the main tournament is co-organised by FIBA and the NBA, the organization of the qualifiers is completely done by FIBA. The first qualifying rounds began on 16 October 2019 during the 2021 BAL qualification.

The Khomas Basketball Association (KBA) Premier League is a basketball league for men's teams in the Khomas Region in Namibia. It is the country's only competitive basketball league and is thus seen as the national top level. The league is organised by the Khomas Basketball Association (KBA), which is located in Windhoek. Because of its high level of competition, teams from other regions have also played in the league, and the Namibian Basketball Federation (NBF) has given the association a mandate to host a national tournament and form a national team.
