USS Kingman (APB-47) was a self-propelled barracks ship in service with the United States Navy during World War II, and briefly post-war. Laid down as LST-1113, she was then reclassified AKS-18 and named Kingman on 8 December 1944. She was then again reclassified APB-47 on 3 March 1945, and launched on 17 April 1945 by Missouri Valley Bridge & Iron Co., sponsored by Mrs. K. B. Bragg. Kingman shortly after, sailed to be fitted out in New Orleans, Louisiana, and commissioned on 27 June 1945.
After her shakedown cruise in the Gulf of Mexico, Kingman cleared Gulfport, Mississippi, and steamed westward through the Panama Canal. She arrived at Pearl Harbor on 2 September, the day of Japan's historic surrender. Five days later the barracks ship sailed for the Far East, arriving at Sasebo, Japan on 8 October via Eniwetok and Guam. She remained in Japanese ports for 5 months, before loading America-bound troops and departing Sasebo on 16 March 1946.
Kingman arrived at San Diego, California on 29 April and remained there until she was decommissioned on 15 January 1947. She was assigned to the Pacific Reserve Fleet shortly after her decommissioning. She was struck from the Naval Register on 1 October 1977, after 30 years of being laid up, and was sold for scrapping, on 19 November 1980, to Levin Metals Corp. (PD-X-1034 of 6 October 1980) for $450,000.00, as part of a two ship group sale. She was scrapped in 1980.
During World War II, Kingman was assigned to the Asiatic-Pacific Theater.
USS Accomac (LST-710/APB-49) was a LST-542-class tank landing ship, the second ship in the service of the United States Navy named after Accomac, Virginia.
USS Arenac (APA-128) was a Haskell-class attack transport in service with the United States Navy from 1945 to 1946. She was scrapped in 1974.
USS Mender was a Gypsy-class salvage lifting vessel of the United States Navy. Originally designated LSM‑550, she was reclassified on 24 April 1945, and was laid down on 25 August 1945 by Brown Shipbuilding Corporation, Houston, Texas. Launched on 7 December 1945; and commissioned on 8 March 1946.
The second USS Mercer is an APL-35-class Barracks ship of the United States Navy. Originally classified as Barracks Craft APL 39, the ship was reclassified as Self-Propelled Barracks Ship APB 39 on 7 August 1944. Laid down on 24 August 1944 by Boston Navy Yard, and launched on 17 November 1944 as APB 39, sponsored by Mrs. Lillian Gaudette, the ship was named Mercer, after counties in eight states, on 14 March 1945, and commissioned on 19 September 1945.
USS Luzon (ARG-2) was an internal combustion engine repair ship that saw service in the United States Navy during World War II and the Korean War. She was the lead ship in a class of twelve and was named for the Island of Luzon, the chief island in the northern Philippines and site of the capital city of Manila. She is the second US Naval vessel to bear the name.

USS Mainstay (AM-261) was an Admirable-class minesweeper built for the U.S. Navy during World War II. She was built to clear minefields in offshore waters, and served the Navy in the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean.
USS Gavia (AM-363) was an Admirable-class minesweeper built for the United States Navy during World War II. The ship was ordered and laid down as PCE-905-class patrol craft USS PCE-907 but was renamed and reclassified before her September 1943 launch as Gavia (AM-363). She earned two battle stars in service in the Pacific during World War II. In May 1946, she was turned over to the Republic of China for service with the Chinese Maritime Customs Service as Yung Chun. She was removed from service in June 1962.
USS Laurentia (AF-44) was an Adria-class stores ship in service with the United States Navy from 1945 to 1946 and from 1950 to 1970. She was scrapped in 1973.
