Ugly Side of Love is the debut studio album from the British duo band Malachai. The album was originally released by Invada Records on 11 February 2009, comprising different cover artwork and the band's then-name Malakai, but was re-released by Domino Records on 19 April 2010. [1]

The album received a mixed review in The Guardian, with Michael Hann stating that "When it works - on the likes of Shitkicker and How Long - it's terrific; but they can't keep the standards up: it's too fragmentary, too busy being groovier than thou." [2]

Cherry Ghost were an English music group which began in 2006, first as an alias for singer-songwriter Simon Aldred as a solo artist, before morphing into a full band. Their debut album, Thirst for Romance, was released in July 2007 and entered the UK Album Charts at No. 7. It was nominated for an Ivor Novello award as well as winning Aldred an Ivor Novello for best song "People Help the People". A second album, titled Beneath This Burning Shoreline, was released in July 2010 to positive critical acclaim. Malachai are an English two-piece band from Bristol, England. They were renamed Malachai in 2010 from the previous spelling Malakai after the band discovered that the name Malakai was already used by an American rap artist. The members of the band are Gee Ealey (vocals) and DJ Scott Hendy (music). Their sound is a mix of beats and samples, drawing on a wide range of influences from BBC Radiophonic-type experimentalism through 'Golden Era' Hip-Hop to 1960s Psyche Pop.

Conditions is the debut studio album by Australian rock band The Temper Trap, released in Australia through Liberation Music on 19 June 2009. Ship of Light is the third album by the Finnish ambient pop band Husky Rescue. It was first released by Catskills Records in January 2010. A special edition of the album was released in April 2011 with a box set designed by Kustaa Saksi including five new bonus tracks and a DVD of live footage and music videos. Three songs were mixed in Sweden with Niklas Flyckt, whose previous work include Britney Spears’ song Toxic.
