Ultra Jhakaas is an Indian subscription video on-demand over-the-top streaming media service owned and operated by Ultra Media and Entertainment. The service distributes Marathi language films, web series, television shows produced by Ultra Media and Entertainment. [2] It was launched in India on 22 March 2023 with a library of over 1000 titles and over 2000 hours of content. [3] Ultra Jhakaas is the first over-the-top (OTT) platform in India to only stream Marathi-dubbed Hollywood movies and South Indian films in all languages. [4]

The company intends to invest 250 crore (US$31 million) on the Ultra Jhakaas platform over the next five years. [5] [6]

Availability

The service has been launched in India on March 22, 2023. [3] The platform is available on all popular devices including smartphone, tablet, smart TV and web-based version for PCs. [7]
