Under Cover is the third solo album of Joe Lynn Turner, released in 1997. It mostly consists of covers of artists that had a great influence on Turner. On the Japanese version of the album, "Gimme Some Lovin" and "I'm Your Man" are two separate tracks instead of one. [1]

It also received extremely high ratings from music critics, including a 4.5 out of 5 stars rating from Allmusic. The album peaked at number 2 on the Top Jazz Albums and number 74 on the Billboard 200. The album's title Vocalese refers to a style of music that sets lyrics to previously recorded jazz instrumental pieces. The vocals then reproduce the sound and feel of the original instrumentation. Jon Hendricks, proficient in this art, composed all of the lyrics for this album.

Hurry Up And Wait is the 4th solo album by Joe Lynn Turner released in 1998. According to Turner, there were supposed to be two tracks on the album featuring Doogie White, 'Too Much is Not Enough' and 'Freedom's Wings', but the latter didn't make the album. Also, 'Too Much Is Not Enough' was first recorded for the unreleased follow-up of Rescue You. Afterwards, Joe recorded it with Deep Purple for the Slaves and Masters album. The song was also recorded by Paul Rodgers and Kenney Jones band The Law but it was never released. Original JLT version can be found in the bootleg "Demos '88 - 91' and The Law version can be found in "The Law II" bootleg. 'Freedom's Wings' was later recorded on Holy Man.
Holy Man is the 6th solo album of Joe Lynn Turner released in 2000. 'Freedoms Wings' was an outtake of Hurry Up and Wait and a reworked version was released on this album

Under Cover 2 is the 5th solo album of Joe Lynn Turner released in 1999. Just like Under Cover, the album consists mainly of covers of Turner's favorite artists. Due to successful sales of the previous edition, the label asked him to record a follow-up. "The Race Is On" is a re-recorded version of a song that appeared on Turner's solo debut album, Rescue You.
Fandango was an American pop rock band which began as a four-piece, playing in the local clubs in the Tri-state area: New Jersey, New York, Connecticut before adding three more members prior to their first recording contract being signed in March 1977. It was fronted by vocalist Joe Lynn Turner. Larry Dawson, one of the band's keyboardists, would later play for Uli Jon Roth.
