The Rascals are an American rock band, formed in Garfield, New Jersey, United States, in 1965.
Play was a Swedish pop girl group. Faye Hamlin, Anna Sundstrand, Anaïs Lameche, and Rosie Munter formed Play's original lineup from the band's formation from 2000 until late 2003. After founding member Hamlin left the group, fifth member Janet Leon joined Play to fill Hamlin's position as lead singer. In 2005, the group officially announced an "indefinite break" and split up. At that time, Play had sold almost one million albums. Four years later, in 2009, the group reformed with a new lineup of three members consisting of Lameche, Hamlin, and the sixth and oldest member of Play, Sanne Karlsson. In February 2011, an official statement was made that Hamlin had once again left the group in 2010 and would be replaced by Emelie Norenberg. It was announced in May 2011 that the band had separated for the second time.
Rosanna Bella Victoria Eriksdotter Munter is an actress and recording artist from Sweden. She is best known as a member of the Swedish girl group Play, and she was in a collaborative project with White Lies bassist Charles Cave titled K.I.D.S.
Fanny Matilda Dagmar Hamlin, known professionally as Faye, is a former Swedish singer, songwriter, and model. She was the lead singer of the Swedish pop group Play in the early 2000s. In 2012, she debuted as a solo artist. Hamlin quit the music industry in 2014.
Anaïs Helena Lameche Bonnier is a Swedish former singer and one of the original members of the Swedish pop group Play. She is the only member of Play out of its seven different members to appear in all four different line-ups of the group. Before the band's split, she was also the last remaining original member of the group since Faye's second departure in January 2011. She quit the music industry in 2011.

Janet Ava Owji, also known by her stage name OWJI and her former stage name Janet Leon, is a Swedish singer, songwriter and A&R. Leon began her career as part of the pop group Play, for which she was lead singer 2003–2005. She rose to further prominence in Sweden with the release of her hit debut solo album Janet (2009) and the successful singles "Let Go" and "Heartache on the Dancefloor", both also released in 2009.
Us Against the World is the debut studio album by Swedish girl group Play, released on 12 December 2001. In the United States, it was released on 25 June 2002 as the self-titled EP Play. The album charted on the Billboard 200, peaking at number 74 on 5 October 2002, and on 24 March 2003 the album was certified Gold by the RIAA. The songs "Us Against the World" and "Cinderella" were released as singles.

She continued to record and perform with the group until the release of their final studio album Time for Change (1997). Replay is the second studio album by Swedish girl group Play, released on 10 June 2003. It contains covers from British artists such as Billie Piper, Liberty X and Atomic Kitten. The first single off the album was "I Must Not Chase the Boys". The album peaked at number 67 on the Billboard 200 chart. Billboard named "I Must Not Chase the Boys" #76 on their list of 100 Greatest Girl Group Songs of All Time.

It is the first album by the group to feature vocals from then new member Janet Leon, who replaced founding member and lead singer Faye Hamlin. In fact, many of the album's tracks are believed to have been originally recorded with Hamlin, as many years later an alternative version of Another Love Story was released featuring her vocals. The album was released on 9 March 2004. This was the group's least successful album and did not chart on the Billboard 200.

The program was broadcast for two seasons in 2009 and 2010 and was supervised by Swedish Idol series judges Anders Bagge, Andreas Carlsson and Laila Bagge.
