"Under My Skin" is a song by German singer Sarah Connor from her sixth studio album, Sexy as Hell (2008). It was written by Connor along with Remee, Thomas Troelsen, and O. G. Fortuna, and produced by Remee and Troelsen. The song was released as the album's lead single on 1 August 2008. Connor's first uptempo single release since 2005's "From Zero to Hero", the track managed to reach the top twenty in Austria and on a composite European Hot 100 Singles chart, as well as number four in Germany.
"Under My Skin" was composed by the Danish producers Remee and Thomas Troelsen, [1] while lyrics were contributed by Sarah Connor and O. G. Fortuna. [1] A different version of Remee and Troelsen's backing track was bought by Korean label SM Entertainment in January 2008, to be recorded by boy band TVXQ. Re-titled "Mirotic," it features lyrics by Yoo Young-jin and Ryoji Sonoda and was released as the lead single from their fourth studio album Mirotic in September of the same year. [2] Despite the fact that the two original songs were the same composed piece, they have musical differences. While Lucas Secon is credited as a writer on "Mirotic," he is not credited on "Under My Skin." [1]
Connor's first uptempo single release since 2005's "From Zero to Hero", "Under My Skin" debuted at number four on the German Singles Chart in the week of 15 August 2008. [3] It marked her twelfth top ten hit on the chart as well as her highest-peaking song since 2006's "The Best Side of Life." [3] Elsewhere, the song managed to reach the top twenty in Austria, peaking at number eleven on the Austrian Singles Chart, [4] while also reaching number 19 on Billboard 's composite European Hot 100 Singles chart. [5] In Switzerland, "Under My Skin" opened and peaked at number 79 on the Swiss Singles Chart, becoming Connor's lowest-charting song yet. [6]
A music video for "Under My Skin" was directed by Joern Heitmann and filmed at the Tempodrom, a Berlin multi-purpose event venue, on 5 July 2008. [7]

Sarah Connor is a German pop singer. She rose to prominence after she signed with X-Cell Records in 2000 and released her debut album Green Eyed Soul (2001) the following year. She followed it with a series of successful albums, including Unbelievable (2002), Key to My Soul (2003), Naughty but Nice (2005), Christmas in My Heart (2005), Soulicious (2007), Sexy as Hell (2008) and Real Love (2010). Several songs from these albums became hit singles on the pop record charts, including the number-one hits "From Sarah with Love", "Music is the Key", "Just One Last Dance", "Living to Love You" and "From Zero to Hero". In 2015, Connor's first German language project Muttersprache became her second chart-topper after a decade.
Monrose was a German pop girl group, first established in November 2006. Formed on the fifth installment of the German adaption of the international television talent show Popstars, the trio consisted of singers Mandy Capristo, Senna Gammour, and Bahar Kızıl. They were signed to Starwatch Music and released their debut album Temptation in December 2006. It achieved major success throughout Central Europe, selling more than a 600,000 copies combined and produced two singles, including number-one breakthrough hit "Shame" and "Even Heaven Cries".

The title of the song is inspired by the James Bond movie From Russia with Love. Written by Bülent Aris, Toni Cottura, and Anthony Freeman, with production helmed by the former, the song samples Mary J. Blige's 2001 song "Family Affair", while featuring guest vocals by Wyclef Jean. "The Best Side of Life" is a song by German recording artist Sarah Connor. It was released by X-Cell Records as the lead single from the 2006 reissue of her first Christmas album, Christmas in My Heart (2005), accompanying the release of Connor's DVD of the same name. Written by Marc Lennard and Achim Heider under his pseudonym JoHo HF, the Christmas song was produced by frequent collaborators, duo Kay D. and Rob Tyger. A midtempo love song, the instrumentation includes bell chimes and harp sounds. The song's lyrics declare that the protagonist wants for Christmas to be united with her lover and family for the holidays.

It was written and produced by Danish musicians Remee Sigvardt and Thomas Troelsen and recorded by the trio for their second studio album, Strictly Physical (2007). A dance-pop song with heavy elements of electropop, house and sprechgesang, it was selected out of sereral hundreds of songs and set much of the tone of its parent album, which was chiefly produced by Remee and Troelsen. "Hot Summer" also introduced a stronger dance pop edge to Monrose's overall sound. Lyrically, it features a female protagonist expressing her desire for her love interest.
Strictly Physical is the second studio album by all-female German pop trio Monrose. It was released by Starwatch Music in association with Cheyenne Records and Warner Music on 21 September 2007 in German-speaking Europe and on 8 October 2007 in parts of Eastern Europe. Released only nine months after its best-selling predecessor Temptation (2006), the album took Monrose's work further into dance and electro music, featuring main production by Danish producers Remee, Thomas Troelsen, and Peter Biker, as well as British composers from production collectives Jiant, and Snowflakers.

Sexy as Hell is the seventh studio album by German singer Sarah Connor. It was released by X-Cell Records on 22 August 2008 in German-speaking Europe. Connor's first regular release of original material since her 2005 studio album Naughty but Nice, she consulted Danish producers Remee and Thomas Troelsen to work with her on Sexy as Hell. Aside from the duo, Connor also worked with duo Marek Pompetzki and Paul NZA and reteamed with as frequent contributors Rob Tyger and Kay Denar as well as Bülent Aris. Sexy as Hell has been called an "inspiration" by English singer Jack Lucien for his second studio album EuroSceptic.

An ode to her son Tyler, the uplifting pop ballad was conceived after a dispute with him. Her first single in German, the song was released as the album's lead single on 1 May 2015 in German-speaking Europe; it has since reached number two on the German Singles Chart.
