Hung Ga (洪家),Hung Kuen (洪拳),or Hung Ga Kuen (洪家拳) is a southern Chinese martial art belonging to the southern Shaolin styles. The hallmarks of Hung Ga are strong stances,notably the horse stance,or "si ping ma" (四平馬),and strong hand techniques,notably the bridge hand and the versatile tiger claw. Traditionally,students spent anywhere from several months to three years in stance training,often sitting only in horse stance from half an hour to several hours at a time,before learning any forms. Each form could then take a year or so to learn,with weapons learned last. In current times,this mode of instruction is generally considered impractical for students,who have other concerns beyond practicing kung fu. However,some instructors still follow traditional guidelines and make stance training the majority of their beginner training. Hung Ga is sometimes mischaracterized as solely external—that is,reliant on brute physical force rather than the cultivation of qi—even though the student advances progressively toward an internal focus.
Eagle Claw is a style of Chinese martial arts known for its gripping techniques,system of joint locks,takedowns,and pressure point strikes,which is representative of Chinese grappling known as Chin Na. The style is normally attributed to the famous patriotic Song dynasty General Yue Fei. Popular legends states that he learned martial arts from a Wudang Monk named Zhou Tong and later created Eagle Claw to help his armies combat the invading armies of the Jin dynasty. It was passed down until the Ming dynasty. Thus,the style took on long range strikes and aerial jumps. During the Qing dynasty,the military instructor Liu Shi Jun became known as the modern progenitor of Eagle Claw and taught many students. His student Liu Cheng You later taught Chen Zizheng who was invited to teach the style in the prestigious Chin Woo Athletic Association during the Republican era. The style spread as Chin Woo opened sister schools in other provinces. Today,it is practiced around the world.
Chinese martial arts,commonly referred to with umbrella terms kung fu,kuoshu or wushu,are multiple fighting styles that have developed over the centuries in Greater China. These fighting styles are often classified according to common traits,identified as "families" of martial arts. Examples of such traits include Shaolinquan (少林拳) physical exercises involving All Other Animals (五形) mimicry or training methods inspired by Old Chinese philosophies,religions and legends. Styles that focus on qi manipulation are called internal,while others that concentrate on improving muscle and cardiovascular fitness are called external. Geographical associations,as in northern and southern,is another popular classification method.

Burst Angel takes place in the near future,after a rise in criminal activity forced the Japanese government to allow citizens to possess firearms and establish the Recently Armed Police of Tokyo (RAPT). The series follows a band of four mercenaries,named Jo,Meg,Sei,and Amy. It was broadcast for 24-episodes on TV Asahi from April to September 2004. Shek Wing-cheung,better known by his stage name Shih Kien,Sek Kin,Sek Gin or Shek Kin,was a Hong Kong actor and martial artist. Shih is best known for playing antagonists and villains in several early Hong Kong wuxia and martial arts films that dated back to the black-and-white period,and is most familiar to Western audiences for his portrayal of the primary villain,Han,in the 1973 martial arts film Enter the Dragon,which starred Bruce Lee.
Fighting Beauty Wulong is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūgo Ishikawa. It was serialized in Shogakukan's seinen manga magazine Weekly Young Sunday from August 2002 to May 2007,with its chapters collected in 18 tankōbon volumes and additional prequel gaiden volume. The series was adapted into a two-season of 25 episodes each,animated by TMS Entertainment and broadcast on TV Tokyo from October 2005 to October 2006.
The Second Zhili–Fengtian War of 1924 was a conflict between the Japanese-backed Fengtian clique based in Manchuria,and the more liberal Zhili clique controlling Beijing and backed by Anglo-American business interests. The war is considered the most significant in China's Warlord era,with the Beijing coup by Christian warlord Feng Yuxiang leading to the overall defeat of the Zhili clique. During the war the two cliques fought one large battle near Tianjin in October 1924,as well as a number of smaller skirmishes and sieges. Afterwards,both Feng and Zhang Zuolin,the latter being ruler of the Fengtian clique,appointed Duan Qirui as a figurehead prime minister. In south and central China,more liberal Chinese were dismayed by the Fengtian's advance and by the resulting power vacuum. A wave of protests followed. The war also distracted the northern warlords from the Soviet-backed Nationalists based in the southern province of Guangdong,allowing unhampered preparation for the Northern Expedition (1926–1928),which united China under the leadership of Chiang Kai-shek.

Dio Brando,later known mononymously only as Dio,is a fictional character and the main antagonist of the Japanese manga series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki. He is featured initially as the main antagonist of the series' first part,Phantom Blood,and later returns as the main antagonist of the series' third part,Stardust Crusaders,now solely referred to as Dio. In the alternate universe of the series' seventh part,Steel Ball Run,a character named Diego Brando bears resemblance to Dio and appears as a secondary antagonist.

Thunderbolt Fantasy,also known as Thunderbolt Fantasy:Sword Seekers,is a Japanese-Taiwanese glove puppetry television series created and written by Gen Urobuchi and produced as a collaboration between Japanese companies Nitroplus and Good Smile Company and Taiwanese puppet production company Pili International Multimedia,creators of Pili ("Thunderbolt") series. The series began airing in Japan on July 8,2016 and is being simulcast by Bahamut and iQiyi Taiwan in Taiwan,bilibili in Mainland China,and Crunchyroll in the United States. It has two official languages:the Taiwanese Min-Nan version aired in Taiwan,and the Japanese version aired outside Taiwan. A manga adaptation illustrated by Yui Sakuma was serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Morning magazine from July 21,2016 to April 6,2017. A second adaption,told from the perspective of Dān Fěi,and illustrated by Kairi Shimotsuki,was serialized in Akita Shoten's Champion Cross online magazine from September 27,2016 to February 28,2017. A side novel that focuses on the pasts of Lǐn XuěYā,Xíng Hài,and ShāWúShēng was released on April 7,2017,and was partially adapted into a film released that year on December 2. Märchen Mädchen is a Japanese light novel series written by Tomohiro Matsu and StoryWorks,with illustrations by Kantoku. The series was being worked on by Matsu before his death in May 2016,and he is still credited as the writer. Shueisha have published four volumes since February 24,2017 under their Dash X Bunko imprint. A manga adaptation by Takatoshi Nakamura and Kiyotsugu Yamagata was serialized in Shueisha's Jump SQ magazine between October 4,2017 and May 2,2018. An anime television series adaptation by Hoods Entertainment aired from January 11,2018 to April 25,2019.
Zombie Land Saga is an anime television series produced by MAPPA,Avex Pictures and Cygames. The series aired in Japan between October and December 2018. A second season titled Zombie Land Saga Revenge aired between April and June 2021. An anime film project has been announced. A manga adaptation that loosely follows the events of the anime,ran on Cygames' Cycomi website from October 2018 to June 2021;a spinoff series which focused on Tae's exploits during her previous life,titled Zombie Land Saga Sidestory:The First Zombie,ran in Ultra Jump magazine from May 2021 to November 2022.
Word Of Honor,previously titled A Tale of the Wanderers (天涯客),is a 2021 Chinese costume streaming television series co-produced by Ciwen Media,and Youku,directed by Cheng Zhi Chao,Ma Hua Gan,and Li Hong Yu,written by Xiao Chu,adapted from the danmei novel "Faraway Wanderers" (天涯客) by Priest. It starred Zhang Zhehan and Gong Jun in the leading roles. The series aired on Youku from February 22 to May 5 with 36 episodes,plus a short bonus clip shows what happened after the end of the main series.
Heaven Official's Blessing is a Chinese novel series written by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu. The serialization started on Jinjiang Literature City,a popular Chinese website for publishing and serializing web fiction,on June 16,2017,and was completed on February 25,2018. It consists of 244 chapters and eight extra chapters. A manhua adaptation,illustrated by STARember and published by Bilibili,was released on October 19,2019. A donghua adaptation was released on Bilibili and Funimation on October 31,2020.
