The United Reformed Churches in Myanmar is a confessional conservative Calvinist denomination in Myanmar.

It has 16 local churches (5 in Yangon Classis, 5 in Kalay Classis and 6 in Falam Claasis) and two mission fields. There are 17 ordained clergy in 2019. The Church adheres to the Three Forms of Unity (Belgic Confession, Heidelberg Catechism and Canons of Dort), the Apostles Creed and the Westminster Confession of Faith. [1]

It is a member of the World Reformed Fellowship. [2]

The denomination is a founding member of the Reformed and Presbyterian Fellowship in Myanmar in 2008. [3]

The Christian Reformed Church in Myanmar is a Reformed church of Myanmar, and was founded in 1985 by Pastor Chan Thleng who was formerly ordained in the Presbyterian Church in Myanmar. He belongs to the Matu tribe in Southern Chin State born in 1954 become Christian in 1974. In 1985 he founded the United Christian Church after he graduated from Calvin Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids, MI. He returned to Burma and changed the denomination's name to the Christian Reformed Church. It has 52 congregations and 13 preaching points with more than 6,000 members. The church is divided into 10 classes. Most of the evangelists work among Buddhist and Animist people. The Church recognizes the Belgic Confession, Heidelberg Catechism, Canons of Dort and the Ecumenical Creeds. To train pastors the church founded the Reformed Theological seminary in Yangon in 1997. The college offers a degree of Bachelor of Theology. The Christian Reformed Church maintains a clinic opened in 1999 in Matupi. It belonged to the Reformed Ecumenical Council, the only Burmese denomination to do so. But REC merged with the World Alliance of Reformed Churches, now the Christian Reformed Church is affiliated with the World Communion of Reformed Churches. The denomination held its 26th General assembly on March 17–20, 2011. It entered into official ecclesiastical fellowship with the Christian Reformed Church in North America in 2011.

The Reformed Churches in the Netherlands (Liberated) are an orthodox Reformed, Protestant federation of churches. This church body arose in 1944 out of the so-called Liberation from the Reformed Churches in the Netherlands, when many pastors and members refused to go along with the General Synod's demand to hold to "presumed regeneration of infants" at their baptism. Klaas Schilder played an important role in the Liberation. There are currently 270 affiliated local congregations with a total of about 120,000 members in 2016.

The Gereja-Gereja Reformasi di Indonesia or the Indonesian Reformed Churches is a confessional Reformed church in the country of Indonesia established by orthodox Calvinist Dutch missionaries.

Presbyterian Church of Myanmar was found at Losau in 1956. Mizo immigrants formed the Presbyterian Church in Myanmar after they moved to the Kalay and Kabaw Valley in upper Chindwin. They were served first by a Baptist, then by a Methodist minister. The Mizo Presbyterians maintained the Reformed faith. The first Presbyterian church was founded in 1956 in Losau village, and the church spread in the surrounding regions. In 1962 the church was constituted at the national level with 5,000 members. The church extended its activities to the southern Chin Hills, Rakhine State, upper Sagaing Division. The denomination is a member of the World Communion of Reformed Churches and has about 30,000 members in 256 parishes and 160 house fellowships. A partner church relationship with the Presbyterian Church (USA) has been established.

Evangelical Church of the River Plate

The Evangelical Church of the River Plate is a United, Protestant denomination with congregations in Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay. It is named after the Río de la Plata Basin, where the majority of its congregations are located. The IERP was affiliated with the Evangelical Church in Germany from 1934–1965, when it became independent. The church ordains women as ministers and supported civil unions and same-sex marriage. It has approximately 27,500 members.

The Calvin Synod is an acting conference of the United Church of Christ, composed entirely of Reformed, or Calvinist congregations of Hungarian descent. Unlike much of the UCC, the Synod is strongly conservative on doctrinal and social matters, and many members of the "Faithful and Welcoming Movement," a renewal group acting to move the UCC in a more orthodox direction, belong to this body.

The Reformed Presbyterian Church in Africa (Uganda) was formed in 2007 by pastors and elders graduating from the Westminster Theological Seminary in Mbale, Uganda. In Uganda there are 10 congregations and 2 Presbyteries. In Kenya and Tanzania there is one Presbytery in each country.
