David Marsh is the head coach of Team Elite in San Diego, California, and the ‘Professional Adviser’ of the Israel Swimming Association.

David Clark Salo is a swimming coach based in Southern California, United States. He was the head coach of the men's and women's swimming team at University of Southern California, as well as USC's club team: Trojan Swim Club. Prior to his becoming the USC coach in 2007, he was the head coach of Irvine Novaquatics, a position he held since the fall of 1990, and was head coach of Soka University of America's men's and women's swimming teams from 2003 to 2006. He currently remains Novaquatics' General Manager.

Francis Crippen was an American long-distance swimmer. After being a pool swimmer for most of his career, Crippen made the transition to open water swimming in 2006. In international competitions, Crippen won seven medals, five of which were in the open water and two in the pool. Crippen died during an open water swimming race in the United Arab Emirates in 2010 at the age of 26.

Madeleine Marie Crippen, also known by her married name as Madeleine Plankey, is an American former competition swimmer. Crippen represented the United States at the 2000 Summer Olympics.

The United States competed at the 15th Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The USA delegation was formed of 595 athletes, and was the second largest delegation in the competition, right after the Brazilian delegation. The USA delegation included 322 men and 273 women.

The USOC Coach of the Year awards are given annually by the United States Olympic Committee to the top coaches in Olympic and Paralympic sports. One award is given in each of five categories:

Elizabeth Beisel American competition swimmer

Elizabeth Lyon Beisel is an American competition swimmer who specializes in backstroke and individual medley events. Beisel placed second in the 400m individual medley at the 2016 US Olympic Swimming Trials, qualifying for her third Olympic team. She has won a total of nine medals in major international competition, four gold, one silver, and four bronze spanning the Olympics, World Aquatics, and the Pan Pacific championships. Beisel competed in the 200-meter backstroke and 400-meter individual medley events at the 2008 Summer Olympics, placing fifth and fourth, respectively, in the world. She won the silver medal in the 400-meter individual medley and bronze in the 200-meter backstroke at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She competed on season 39 of Survivor, Island of the Idols and placed 9th.

The Golden Goggle Awards, presented by the USA Swimming Foundation, is an awards ceremony which honours swimmers' achievements over the last year. There are eight categories: Breakout Performer of the Year, Coach of the Year, Perseverance Award, Relay Performance of the Year, Male Race of the Year, Female Race of the Year, Male Athlete of the Year, and Female Athlete of the Year.

Sean Ryan is an American competition swimmer who specializes in long-distance and open-water freestyle events.

Tyler Clary American swimmer

Scott Tyler Clary is an American former competition swimmer and Olympic gold medalist. In his Olympic debut at the 2012 Summer Olympics, Clary won gold in the 200-meter backstroke in Olympic record time. In total, he won sixteen medals in major international competitions: three gold, eight silver, and five bronze spanning the Summer Olympics, the FINA World Championships, the Pan Pacific Championships, and the Pan American Games.

Teresa Crippen is an American competition swimmer who was a Pan American Games gold medalist.

Nick Thoman American swimmer

Nicholas Brewer Thoman is an American competition swimmer who specializes in the backstroke and is an Olympic gold medalist. He has won two world championships as a member of winning United States medley relay teams at the FINA World Aquatics Championships. From 2009 to 2015 he held the world record in the 100-meter backstroke. Thoman has won a total of ten medals in major international competition, four gold, three silver, and three bronze spanning the Olympics, World Championships, Pan Pacific Championships, Pan American Games, and the Summer Universiade. He was a member of the 2012 U.S. Olympic team, and won gold and silver medals at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Eva Fabian American-Israeli open water swimmer

Eva Fabian is an American-Israeli open water swimmer. She was the 2010 world champion in the 5-kilometer swim, and won a gold medal at the 2015 Pan American Games in the women's 10k.

Alexander Meyer is a former American competition swimmer who specialized in open water and long-distance swimming. He won a gold medal at the 2010 FINA World Open Water Swimming Championships in the 25-kilometer open water event. He was a member of the 2012 United States Olympic team, and placed tenth in the 10-kilometer open water event at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Alex won his final race before retirement, the 62nd Traversée internationale du lac St-Jean held on July 30, 2016.

Gregg Troy

Gregg Troy is an American professional and Olympic swimming coach. He is currently head coach for the Cali Condors which is part of the International Swimming League. As of 2018, he is the retired head coach of the Florida Gators swimming and diving teams of the University of Florida. While not the head college coach, he still coaches the high-performance, club swimmers. Troy previously served as an assistant coach for the U.S. Olympic men's swim team in 1996 and 2008, and he was the head coach of the 2012 U.S. Olympic men's swim team that competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.

United States at the 2011 World Aquatics Championships Sporting event delegation

The American team competed at the 2011 World Aquatics Championships in Shanghai, China from July 16 to July 31. The United States topped the gold medal count in the competition with 17 golds and finished the competition with 32 total medals, behind China's 36. 16 of the 17 gold medals came from the swimming competition and one came from the open water swimming competition. Individually, Michael Phelps won the most overall medals in the competition with seven. Ryan Lochte won the most gold medals among the male competitors with five and finished the competition with six medals total.

United States competed at the 2015 World Aquatics Championships in Kazan, Russia from 24 July to 9 August 2015.

New Zealand at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships Sporting event delegation

New Zealand competed at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships in Gwangju, South Korea from 12 to 28 July.
