Robert Bowman is an American swimming coach who is the current head coach of the Arizona State Sun Devils swimming and diving teams of Arizona State University. Bowman is best known as the coach of 23-time Olympic gold medalist American swimmer Michael Phelps.
USA Swimming is the national governing body for competitive swimming in the United States. Jack Bauerle is the former head coach of the University of Georgia (UGA) men's and women's swimming teams. David Clark Salo is a swimming coach based in Southern California, United States. He was the head coach of the men's and women's swimming team at University of Southern California, as well as USC's club team, Trojan Swim Club. Prior to his becoming the USC coach in 2007, he was the head coach of Irvine Novaquatics, a position he held since the fall of 1990, and was head coach of Soka University of America's men's and women's swimming teams from 2003 to 2006. He currently remains Novaquatics' General Manager.
William Melvin Smith Jr. was an American former competition swimmer, two-time Olympic champion, and a former world record-holder in four events. He was one of the most successful competitive swimmers in the United States in the first half of the 20th century.
Edwin Charles Reese is an American college and Olympic swimming coach, and a former college swimmer. Reese serves as the head coach of the Texas Longhorns men's swimming and diving team that represents the University of Texas in Austin, Texas. He previously served as the men's head coach for the United States' Olympic Swimming Team in 2004 and 2008, as well as an assistant coach at the 1992, 1996, 2000 and 2012 Summer Olympics. He is widely regarded as the greatest swim coach in history.
Hugh Donald McCutcheon, a native of Christchurch, New Zealand, is a former volleyball coach. He previously coached the US men's and women's national volleyball team, and was the head coach for the University of Minnesota's women's volleyball team from 2012–2022. Starting in January 2023, McCutcheon is the assistant athletics director/sport development coach at Minnesota, after announcing his resignation from the volleyball team at the conclusion of the 2022 season.

John Lawson Hargis is an American former competition swimmer, Olympic gold medalist, and college swimming coach. Hargis represented the United States at the 1996 Summer Olympics, and was a member of the gold medal-winning U.S. 4×100-meter medley relay team. In his twenty year coaching career, he was the head coach of the Pittsburgh Panthers swimming and diving team at University of Pittsburgh from 2016-2012, and had formerly coached at Auburn, and Penn State.
Gregg Troy is an American professional and Olympic swimming coach. As of April 2021, he is the head coach for the Cali Condors, which is part of the International Swimming League. Until 2018, he was the head coach of the Florida Gators swimming and diving teams of the University of Florida. Previously, Troy served as an assistant coach for the U.S. Olympic men's swim team in 1996 and 2008, and he was the head coach of the 2012 U.S. Olympic men's swim team that competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
Doug Shaffer is an American college diving coach. He is the current co-head coach of the LSU Tigers and LSU Lady Tigers swimming and diving teams at Louisiana State University with responsibilities for the dive team. Dave Geyer is head coach of the swimming team.
Jordan Matthew Wilimovsky is an American competitive swimmer who specializes in open water swimming. At the 2015 World Championships in Kazan, Russia, Wilimovsky won the gold medal in the 10 km open water event. Wilimovsky won by a margin of 12.1 seconds over the second-place finisher Ferry Weertman of the Netherlands. At the 2016 Summer Olympics, Wilimovsky competed in both pool swimming and open water swimming events, becoming the first American to swim in both types of events at one Olympic Games.
Marcus James Titus is a deaf American swimmer who has made it as far as eighth place in the 2012 Olympic Trials. Titus won a state championship at Flowing Wells High School and is a 12-time-All-American at Arizona, he was a major figure in the US’s 2008 NCAA championship team, and he was previously a coach for the 2013 Deaflympic team. He is also known for being a spokesperson for deaf and hard-hearing athletes in the swimming world.
Jacob Pebley is an American competition swimmer who specializes in the backstroke. He will be representing DC Trident in the International Swimming League during the 2020 season.
Ray Looze, is an American swimming coach. He began his coaching career after finishing 3rd at his last Olympic trials. Already at Texas university, he volunteered there learning the ropes before heading off to the Peddie boarding school in New Jersey. After that, he ended up in Phoenix, Arizona. While at Phoenix he met the love of his life Kandis Perry, who now goes by Kandis Looze, at the Olympic training center as they both had kids on their swim clubs make the national team. After quickly marrying Kandis they moved to Stockon, CA where Looze was the head coach at the University of the Pacific (UOP). Since June 2002, he has been the head coach for the Indiana Hoosiers. He runs both the men's and women's swimming programs.
Greg Meehan is an American Olympic and College swimming coach, who has served as the women's head coach for the Stanford swim team since 2012, winning NCAA conference championships in 2017 and 2018. He was an Olympic Coach for the US Women's Olympic Swimming Team in 2016 and 2020.
Vin Lananna is an American track and field coach. He coached collegiate teams included the Stanford Cardinal and the Oregon Ducks. He has served as national team coach for the 2011 World Championships in Athletics and the 2016 Rio Olympics. He was included in the 2012 USTFCCCA Hall of Fame as a coach.
Todd DeSorbo has been the head coach of the Virginia Cavaliers Swim team at the University of Virginia, since assuming the position in 2017. He served as an Assistant Coach for the 2021 US Tokyo Summer Olympics Women's Swim Team, and in September 2023 was named to be the Head Coach for the U.S. Women's Swim team at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
