The University American College Skopje (abbr. UACS) is a private university established in 2005. It is headquartered in Skopje, North Macedonia. The premises of UACS encompass 4,000 m2.

Library resources

The library of UACS has 1500 titles or 6500 books.

Since 2008, the Library of UACS started with publishing. The first book which was issued is Osnovi na Statistika by Evica Delova, and after that UACS library has continued with publishing of other books: Makroekonomija by Tome Nenovski, Decentralizacija na vlasta vo Republika Makedonija by Sapuric Zoran, Kon Univerzitetite od Tretata Generacija by Hans Vizema, Zivotna sredina I oddrzliv razvoj by Zoran Sapuric, and others. Besides these books, the library has published a number of readers and scripts (23) and eight books in electronic form, according to the rules laid down by the home library (NUL) in North Macedonia, which also contained in the Rules of Publishing UACS.

Student council

The Student Council helps share students’ ideas, interests, and concerns with the teachers and principal. It also helps students raise funds for school wide projects.

Bitola Town in Pelagonia, North Macedonia

Bitola is a city in the southwestern part of North Macedonia. It is located in the southern part of the Pelagonia valley, surrounded by the Baba, Nidže and Kajmakčalan mountain ranges, 14 kilometres north of the Medžitlija-Níki border crossing with Greece. Nikola Gruevski

Nikola Gruevski is a politician from North Macedonia who served as Prime Minister of the then-Macedonia from 2006 to 2016, and led the VMRO-DPMNE party from 2003 to 2017. Previously, he was Minister of Finance in the VMRO-DPMNE government led by Ljubčo Georgievski until 2002.

St. Clement of Ohrid University of Bitola

The St. Clement of Ohrid University of Bitola is a public university in North Macedonia. Headquartered in Bitola, it also has faculties in Prilep, Ohrid, Veles, Kichevo and Skopje. It was founded on 25 April 1979, but the name of St. Clement of Ohrid was not given until late 1994. As of 2018–19 school year, a total of 4,139 students are enrolled at the university.

Goce Delčev University of Štip

The Goce Delčev University of Štip is a public university in North Macedonia. Founded in 2007, the university has twelve faculties and three academies. As of 2018–19 school year, a total of 8,237 students are enrolled at the university.

FON University

The FON University is a private university with headquarters in Skopje, North Macedonia. It is the second private university established in North Macedonia after the liberalization of the High education law's in 2002. After its establishment great number of professors from the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje transferred to the new university and contributed to building a better educational system in the Republic of Macedonia.

Let Me Love You (Tamara Todevska, Vrčak and Adrijan Gaxha song)

"Let me Love you", is a song by Tamara Todevska, Vrčak and Adrian Gaxha. The trio competed with the song at Skopje Fest 2008. The song won, having been awarded the most televotes by the general public and the 7-member expert jury. The English language version represented Republic of Macedonia at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrade, Serbia, on 22 May 2008. It was performed at number eighteen, following Evdokia Kadi's "Femme Fatale" and preceding Vânia Fernandes' "Senhora do mar " but did not acquire enough points to proceed to the final stage of the competition. It was voted the 10th qualifier by the televote, but the juries chose Sweden to pass.

European University-North Macedonia

The European University Skopje is a private university headquartered in Skopje, North Macedonia.

KK MZT Skopje

KK MZT Skopje Aerodrom is a basketball club based in Skopje, North Macedonia. The club competes in the Macedonian First League and ABA League. The club's home ground is Jane Sandanski Arena, but due to small capacity, the matches in the ABA League and Eurocup between 2012 and 2014 were played in Boris Trajkovski Arena. Since the 2014–15 season, all matches are held in the renovated Jane Sandanski Arena.

North Macedonia Landlocked republic in Southeast Europe

North Macedonia, officially the Republic of North Macedonia, is a country in Southeast Europe. It gained independence in 1991 as one of the successor states of Yugoslavia. North Macedonia is a landlocked country bordering with Kosovo to the northwest, Serbia to the north, Bulgaria to the east, Greece to the south, and Albania to the west. University of Information Science and Technology "St. Paul The Apostle"

The University of Information Science and Technology "St. Paul The Apostle" is a public university in North Macedonia. As of 2018–19 school year, a total of 375 students are enrolled at the university.

Vardar Macedonia, the area that now makes up North Macedonia, was part of the Ottoman Empire for over five hundred years, from the mid-14th century to 1912. However, the Ottomans themselves did not keep any "Macedonia" as an administrative unit. Instead Vardar Macedonia was part of the Ottoman province or Eyalet of Rumelia. The name Rumelia means "Land of the Romans" in Turkish, referring to the lands conquered by the Ottoman Turks from the Byzantine Empire.

Stratsin-Kumanovo operation

The Stratsin-Kumanovo operation was an offensive operation of the Bulgarian Army in occupied Yugoslavia during the participation of Bulgaria in World War II against the Third Reich, which led to the capture of Skopje in 1944.

Nevena Georgieva Macedonian partisan fighter

Nevena Georgieva-Dunja was a Macedonian Yugoslav Partisan. She participated in the 1941 Yugoslav independence struggle during World War II. At the age of 16 she was the youngest fighter in the Macedonian partisan units, and she was the first woman to be a Macedonian partisan fighter.
