A business school is a higher education institution or professional school that teaches courses leading to degrees in business administration or management. A business school may also be referred to as school of management, management school, school of business administration, college of business, or colloquially b-school or biz school. A business school offers comprehensive education in various disciplines related to the world of business.
A Master of Business Administration is a professional postgraduate degree focused on business administration. The core courses in an MBA program cover various areas of business administration; elective courses may allow further study in a particular area but an MBA is normally intended to be a general program. It originated in the United States in the early 20th century when the country industrialized and companies sought scientific management.

Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) is the business school of Lancaster University in Lancaster, England. The school's history can be traced back to the establishment of departments of marketing and of operational research at the university's foundation in 1964. These and other related departments were organised into the "School of Business and Organizational Studies" in 1969. A full range of subjects are taught, ranging from undergraduate degrees to postgraduate degrees, including executive and full-time MBAs, PhDs and post-experience executive education.

Gautam Buddha University ("GBU") is a university established by the Uttar Pradesh Gautam Buddha University Act 2002 and came into existence in 2008. It is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 12-B and accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with B+ grade. It is located in Greater Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar in Uttar Pradesh, India. It is one of Uttar Pradesh's state government universities which commenced its first academic session in the year 2008. The university campus is spread over 511 acres (207 ha) and offers Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral degrees in engineering, Business Administration, Computer Applications, Biotechnology and Buddhist Studies and is mainly focused on research.

The school has four disciplines: Accounting and Finance; Economics; Management and Organisations; and Marketing.
Majan University College in Muscat, Oman, is an accredited College of the University of Bedfordshire, UK, and is regulated by the Ministry of Higher Education, Innovation & Research. In December 2017 it became the first higher education institution to receive accreditation from the Oman Academic Accreditation Authority (OAAA). In 2023, MUC was awarded the prestigious 'Top Omani Brand' in the Higher Education category, illustrating its prominence in the higher education sector.
