Lavanify is a mammalian genus from the late Cretaceous of Madagascar. The only species, L. miolaka, is known from two isolated teeth, one of which is damaged. The teeth were collected in 1995–1996 and described in 1997. The animal is classified as a member of Gondwanatheria, an enigmatic extinct group with unclear phylogenetic relationships, and within Gondwanatheria as a member of the family Sudamericidae. Tsangyang Gyatso was the 6th Dalai Lama. He was an unconventional Dalai Lama that preferred the lifestyle of a crazy wisdom yogi to that of an ordained monk. His regent was killed before he was kidnapped by Lha-bzang Khan of the Khoshut Khanate and disappeared. He died in Mongolia at the age of 65 at one of the biggest Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in Mongolia. There is a stupa to him there.

Saint Odo of Urgell was a bishop of Urgell, noted for his care for the poor. He was from the family of the counts of Pallars Sobirà. He is buried in the monastery of Santa Maria de Gerri. In 1133 his successor declared him to be a saint, and he is venerated as such today. Odo is one of the patron saints of the town of La Seu d'Urgell. His feast day is July 7.

Santa Cecília de Elins is a former Romanesque Benedictine monastery in the municipality of Montferrer i Castellbò, Catalonia, Spain, to the southeast of the village of Cassovall. It is a Bien de Interés Cultural site. The monastery was documented in 865 but fell into decline in the tenth century. On 29 December 1080 the Bishop of Urgell Bernat Guillem consecrated a new church with three altars dedicated to St. Cecilia, Virgin Mary and Santa Fe. During the fourteenth century it fell into decline and in 1383 it was reduced in status to a priory. By 1680 the monastery fell into ruins. It was converted into a farmhouse in the 1940s.
