Usoni Club de Mutsamudu, better known as simply Usoni, is a Comorian basketball club based in Mutsamudu. [1] The club's colors are blue and white and they play in the Comoros Basketball Championship.
In 2019, the team competed in the inaugural qualifiers for the Basketball Africa League. [2] The team had a 0–4 record while Soula El Had led the team in scoring.

Sayyid Ahmed Abdallah Mohamed Sambi is a Comorian Islamic leader and politician, and former President of Comoros. He is popularly known as 'Ayatollah'. After easily winning the 14 May 2006 presidential election with 58.02% of the national vote, Sambi was inaugurated as President of the Union of the Comoros on 26 May 2006. It was the first peaceful transfer of power in the history of the Comoros.

Ushindzi Club is a Comorian basketball club based in Ouani. The club was founded in 1976. The club has participated in the Comoros Basketball Championship and has won the championship in 2015 and 2023. Ushindzi has also won seven regional titles, and played in the FIBA Africa Zone 7 championship in 2016. In the same year, Ushindzi made its debut in the Road to BAL, the qualifying tournaments for the BAL. They lost their two games in Group E against COSPN and the Beau Vallon Heat.
The Comoros National Basketball Championship is an annual tournament for basketball teams in the Comoros to determine the national champions. It is organised by the Comorian Basketball Federation.
