State Route 35 is a highway in northern Utah connecting SR-32 in Francis to SR-87 in Duchesne in a span of sixty-two miles.
From its western terminus in Francis, the highway runs southeast to the junction of Soapstone Basin Road, where it turns south. Afterwards it heads in an easterly direction to Hanna, where it turns southeast and then east to the eastern terminus near Duchesne. Located less than an hour from Downtown Salt Lake City, this route is a favorite day ride for many Wasatch Front locals.
The road from Wanship south to Kamas was added to the state highway system in 1910 as part of the route from Salt Lake City to Echo via Park City Junction. In 1914, a branch was added from Kamas southeast to Stewart's Ranch (beyond Woodland); it was extended to Stockmore in 1918. [3] The legislature extended it farther to Tabiona in 1927 and assigned the SR-35 designation to the entire route from (US-530, eventually US-189, now I-80) at Wanship to Tabiona. [4] In 1931, it was extended to US-40 in Duchesne, where it would end for many years. [5] A regional renumbering in 1964 saw the east end cut back to the junction with SR-87 north of Duchesne, as SR-87 was extended south to that city. [3]
State Route 241 was a loop along Bench Creek Road east of Woodland. It was created in 1947 [6] and existed until 1969. [7]
When US-189 was created in 1938, it overlapped US-40 between Heber and Kimball Junction,[ citation needed ] but it was soon modified to leave US-40 at Hailstone (now under the Jordanelle Reservoir) and mostly follow the present SR-32 through Kamas to Wanship (including what was then SR-35 north of Francis). [8] For a time, US-189 was moved back to the 1938 routing, with US-189 Alternate on the Kamas route, [9] but by the 1977 renumbering it was back in Kamas, and SR-35 was removed from the Francis-Wanship roadway (where it had not been signed for many years). In 1989, SR-35 became part of a new SR-32 as one of many changes caused by the flooding of the Jordanelle Reservoir, but the changes were partially reverted in 1990, and SR-35 was restored to its 1977 alignment. U.S. Route 189 is a spur of U.S. Route 89. It currently runs for 322 miles (518 km) from Provo, Utah at Interstate 15 to Jackson, Wyoming. The highway was not part of the original 1926 U.S. Highway system. The highway was created in the 1930s, absorbing former U.S. Route 530 and a portion of U.S. Route 30S. The portion through Provo Canyon has been designated the Provo Canyon Scenic Byway by the state of Utah.
State Route 32 (SR-32) is a state highway in Wasatch and Summit Counties in the U.S. state of Utah. Most of the highway is an old routing of U.S. Route 189 that became disconnected from the rest of US-189 during the construction of the Jordanelle Reservoir. SR-32 runs for 29.053 miles (46.756 km) from US-40 and US-189 north of Heber City to I-80 near Wanship. Although signed US-189 or US-189 Alternate for most of its history, the highway pre-dates the creation of U.S. Highways and has had several numerical designations and route changes through the years.
State Route 150, also known as the Mirror Lake Highway, is a state highway in the U.S. state of Utah. It is named for Mirror Lake, a picturesque lake that the highway passes along the way. It is also a USDA Forest Service Scenic Byway.
The west end of U.S. Route 40 (US-40) is in the U.S. state of Utah at Silver Creek Junction in Silver Summit with Interstate 80. From there it heads southeast through Heber City and east into Colorado on its way to the Mid-Atlantic.
State Route 42 (SR-42) is a 7.390-mile-long (11.893 km) state highway completely within Box Elder County in the U.S. state of Utah. It connects SR-30 to former SH-81 at the Idaho state line. The highway was formerly part of U.S. Route 30S (US-30S), prior to being bypassed and replaced with what is now signed as Interstate 84 (I-84).
State Route 132 (SR-132) is a 63.132-mile-long (101.601 km) state highway in the U.S. state of Utah. It connects U.S. Route 6 (US-6) in Lynndyl to US-89 at Pigeon Hollow Junction, crossing Interstate 15 (I-15) in Nephi.
U.S. Route 89 in the U.S. state of Utah is a north–south United States Highway spanning more than 502 miles (807.891 km) through the central part of the state, making it the longest road in Utah. Between Provo and Brigham City, US-89 serves as a local road, paralleling Interstate 15, but the portions from Arizona north to Provo and Brigham City northeast to Wyoming serve separate corridors. The former provides access to several national parks and Arizona, and the latter connects I-15 with Logan, the state's only Metropolitan Statistical Area not on the Interstate.
U.S. Route 191 (US-191) is a major north–south state highway through the eastern part of the U.S. state of Utah. The present alignment of US-191, which stretches from Mexico to Canada, was created in 1981 through Utah. Previously the route had entered northern Utah, ending at US-91 in Brigham City, but with the completion of I-15 it was truncated to Yellowstone National Park and re-extended on a completely different alignment. In addition to a large portion of US-163, this extension absorbed several state routes: SR-33, most of SR-44, and SR-260.
State Route 72 (SR-72) is a 35.393-mile-long (56.960 km) state highway in the U.S. state of Utah. The current alignment is an extension of SR-10. The highway provides access to Loa from Interstate 70 (I-70).
State Route 92 (SR-92), also known in various portions as the Timpanogos Highway, and Alpine Loop Scenic Highway is a scenic state highway in Utah County, Utah that runs from I-15/US-89 in Lehi to US-189 in Provo Canyon. The route is 27.296 miles (43.929 km) long and is the only road with access to Sundance Ski Resort and the Aspen Grove Family Camp and Conference Center.
State Route 224 (SR-224) is a north–south state highway in the U.S. state of Utah. The route connects Interstate 80 and Kimball Junction in the north to Park City in the south. Ski resorts line the mostly four-lane highway, including Park City Resort and Deer Valley. The highway has changed paths many times since its formation in 1941, at one point connecting to Big Cottonwood Canyon and Salt Lake County. However, realignments brought the route to its present path by 1990.
State Route 248 is a highway in northern Utah that connects Park City with Kamas. In Park City it is known as Kearns Boulevard.

Utah State Route 158 is a state highway in the U.S. state of Utah. Spanning 11.6 miles (18.7 km), it connects Powder Mountain Ski Resort and the towns of Liberty and Eden with Utah State Route 39 in Ogden Canyon in Weber County.
