State Route 88 (SR-88) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Utah, connecting Ouray to US-40/US-191.
SR-88 begins at the south end of the Green River bridge near Ouray, within the Uintah Basin. It heads northwards, gradually climbing through the valley of that river, passing east of Pelican Lake, and onto a more rugged plateau just beyond the intersection with 4500 South (which carried SR-88 until 1969). The route's north end is at US-40/US-191 on this plateau. [2]
The state legislature defined State Route 88 in 1935, connecting Ouray to SR-6 (US-40) at Fort Duchesne. [3] State Route 209 was created in 1941, heading north from SR-88 near Leota to US-40 east of Fort Duchesne. [4] In 1969, SR-88 was realigned to follow SR-209, with the old alignment to Fort Duchesne becoming a county road. [5]

Uintah County is a county in the U.S. state of Utah. As of the 2010 United States Census the population was 32,588. Its county seat and largest city is Vernal. The county was named for the portion of the Ute Indian tribe that lived in the basin.
State Route 12 or Scenic Byway 12 (SR-12), also known as "Highway 12 — A Journey Through Time Scenic Byway", is a 122.863-mile-long (197.729 km) state highway designated an All-American Road located in Garfield County and Wayne County, Utah, United States.
State Route 68 (SR-68) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Utah. It is a major thoroughfare throughout the Wasatch Front as it runs north–south for 70.8 miles (113.9 km), linking US-6 near Elberta to US-89 in Woods Cross. The route intersects several major freeways and highways in the Salt Lake City metropolitan area including I-215, I-80, and I-15. The route is more commonly referred to as Redwood Road, after the street it is routed along throughout Salt Lake County. The highway is also routed for a short distance along 500 South and 200 West in Bountiful and Camp Williams Road in Utah County. The route is a surface street for its entire length.
State Route 111 (SR-111) is a state highway in the U.S state of Utah that runs north–south across the west side of the Salt Lake Valley in Salt Lake County. It connects SR-201 in Magna to SR-209 in West Jordan in a span of 10.6 miles (17.06 km). It is known as 8400 West and Bacchus Highway throughout the route's course, in respect of north to south.
State Route 32 (SR-32) is a state highway in Wasatch and Summit Counties in the U.S. state of Utah. Most of the highway is an old routing of U.S. Route 189 that became disconnected from the rest of US-189 during the construction of the Jordanelle Reservoir. SR-32 runs for 29.053 miles (46.756 km) from US-40 and US-189 north of Heber City to I-80 near Wanship. Although signed US-189 or US-189 Alternate for most of its history, the highway pre-dates the creation of U.S. Highways and has had several numerical designations and route changes through the years.
The west end of U.S. Route 40 (US-40) is in the U.S. state of Utah at Silver Creek Junction in Silver Summit with Interstate 80. From there it heads southeast through Heber City and east into Colorado on its way to the Mid-Atlantic.
State Route 13 (SR-13) is a state highway in northern Utah, running 32.841 miles (52.852 km) parallel to I-15 in Box Elder County from Brigham City to Riverside. Most of SR-13 is a former routing of U.S. Route 191.
State Route 132 (SR-132) is a 63.132-mile-long (101.601 km) state highway in the U.S. state of Utah. It connects U.S. Route 6 (US-6) in Lynndyl to US-89 at Pigeon Hollow Junction, crossing Interstate 15 (I-15) in Nephi.
State Route 20 (SR-20) is a state highway in southern Utah, running 20.492 miles (32.979 km) in Iron and Garfield Counties, without directly serving or connecting any cities. It serves as a truck connection between I-15 and US-89 and an access to Bryce Canyon National Park. It may also be used to travel between Salt Lake City and Phoenix, Arizona. The highway follows the route of the Old Spanish Trail.
U.S. Route 191 (US-191) is a major north–south state highway through the eastern part of the U.S. state of Utah. The present alignment of US-191, which stretches from Mexico to Canada, was created in 1981 through Utah. Previously the route had entered northern Utah, ending at US-91 in Brigham City, but with the completion of I-15 it was truncated to Yellowstone National Park and re-extended on a completely different alignment. In addition to a large portion of US-163, this extension absorbed several state routes: SR-33, most of SR-44, and SR-260.
State Route 224 (SR-224) is a north–south state highway in the U.S. state of Utah. The route connects Interstate 80 and Kimball Junction in the north to Park City in the south. Ski resorts line the mostly four-lane highway, including Park City Resort and Deer Valley. The highway has changed paths many times since its formation in 1941, at one point connecting to Big Cottonwood Canyon and Salt Lake County. However, realignments brought the route to its present path by 1990.
State Route 36 (SR-36) is a highway in northern Utah connecting US-6 in northern Juab County to I-80 in northern Tooele County.
State Route 35 is a highway in northern Utah connecting SR-32 in Francis to SR-87 in Duchesne in a span of sixty-two miles.
State Route 210 (SR-210) is a state route in the U.S. state of Utah that is the access road for Little Cottonwood Canyon and the ski resorts of Alta and Snowbird. The 13.62 mi (21.92 km) highway straddles the southeastern edge of the Salt Lake Valley before it enters the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon.
State Route 121 (SR-121) is a state highway that is an alternative to US-40 and US-191. It serves the communities of Vernal, Lapoint, Neola, Cedarview, and Roosevelt. From Vernal to Neola, it is signed as an east–west route. Then, from Neola to State Street in Roosevelt, it is signed as a north–south route. The route is once-more signed east–west from Roosevelt to US-40/US-191.
State Route 45 (SR-45) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Utah. It runs from Dragon Road south of Bonanza in Uintah County north to US-40 in Naples, south of Vernal. The route spans 40.03 miles (64.42 km) south–north.
State Route 73 (SR-73) is a 36.147-mile-long (58.173 km) state highway in the U.S. state of Utah, connecting the Rush and Utah Valleys. It is a discontinuous route in two segments; one long segment connecting SR-36 to Saratoga Springs, and one short segment within the city of Lehi.
Utah State Route 87 (SR-87) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Utah. Over a span of 38 miles (61 km), it connects the communities of Altamont, Boneta, Bluebell, and Upalco to Duchesne and US-40/191 in Duchesne County.
State Route 208 (SR-208) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Utah. Spanning 10.2 miles (16.4 km), it serves as a north/south rural connector, connecting Utah State Route 35 with U.S. Route 40 in rural Duchesne County.
