Ute Kumitz (born 26 February 1960) is a German rower. She competed in the women's quadruple sculls event at the 1984 Summer Olympics. [1]

Ute Geweniger is a former breaststroke and medley swimmer who was a leading member of the East German swimming team in the 1980s. She won two Olympic gold medals, in the 100 m breaststroke and 4×100 m medley relay at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, and set seven individual and two relay world records. She was named by Swimming World Magazine as World Swimmer of the Year in 1983 and as the European Swimmer of the Year in 1981 and 1983.

The 1989 Utah Utes football team represented the University of Utah as a member of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) during the 1989 NCAA Division I-A football season. In their fifth and final season under head coach Jim Fassel, the Utes compiled an overall record of 4–8 record with a mark of 2–6 against conference opponents, finished in seventh place in the WAC, and were outscored by their opponents 524 to 365. The team played home games at Robert Rice Stadium in Salt Lake City.

Ute Enzenauer is a former West German road racing cyclist active from 1981 to 1987. Born in Ludwigshafen-Friesenheim, Rheinland-Pfalz, Enzenauer was selected from school at age 9 as a cyclist. She won the West German National Championships in 1979 and 1980. In 1981 she became the youngest World Champion ever, winning Women's World Road Championships at age 16. She raced the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, California finishing 8th. After finishing 3rd place overall in 1987 Women's Tour de France, she retired from the sport.

Ute Kircheis-Wessel is a retired German fencer. She won a gold medal in the women's team foil at the 1984 Summer Olympics. At the 1976 Summer Olympics she finished in 32nd and fourth place in the individual and team foil events, respectively. She won four medals at world championships in the team foil between 1977 and 1983. Her brother-in-law Friedrich Wessel is also an Olympic foil fencer.

Noack also won the silver medal in the 100 m butterfly at the same championships. She competed at the 1964 Summer Olympics in the 100 m butterfly, but was eliminated in the preliminaries.
