VST 3 is the fourth studio album by the Filipino group VST & Company. The back cover marked the second time on which lead singer Vic Sotto was included. [1]

The medley "VST Concerto in A Minor" (written by Vic Sotto) included the hit single "Rock Baby Rock". "Kiss Kiss" is always included in setlists of TVJ when they perform VST songs in Eat Bulaga! , [2] and the song's intro was used for the now defunct Filipino radio station DZMM (now DWPM Radyo 630) in its segment Radyo Patrol Sais Trenta.

VST & Company was a Filipino disco band from Manila, Philippines, founded by Vic Sotto, Spanky Rigor, and Tito Sotto. Hailed as one of the most successful Filipino bands of the late 1970s, the group is considered by many to be one of the original proponents of OPM. The band originally consisted of Spanky Rigor, Roger Rigor, Male Rigor, Celso Llarina, Monet Gaskell, Val Sotto and Jun Medina. They pioneered the Manila sound genre along with bands such as Hotdog and Cinderella, and rose to fame with their first hit song, "Awitin Mo at Isasayaw Ko". The song ignited Philippine disco culture, and sparked "VST Mania"; a craze that swept across the country throughout the late 1970s. Their five albums which host a catalogue of hits such as "Rock Baby Rock", "Swing It Baby", "Disco Fever", "Magsayawan", "Kiss Kiss", "Magnifica" and "Step No, Step Yes", plus three critically acclaimed full-length films, Disco Fever (1978), Swing It… Baby (1979) and Rock Baby, Rock (1979), hallmark the band's cultural influence and historical contributions to contemporary Philippine pop music.

Iskul Bukol is a Philippine television sitcom series broadcast by IBC. Directed by Bert de Leon, it stars Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, Mely Tagasa, Bing Angeles, Anthony Raquel, Dely Atay-Atayan, Sharon Cuneta, Bibeth Orteza, Richie Reyes, Mary Massab, Joey Albert, Kaye Torres, Redford White, Jimmy Santos, Ariel Villasanta and Rod Navarro. Iskul Bukol 20 Years After (Ungasis and Escaleras Adventure) is a 2008 Filipino adventure comedy film starring actors Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon. It is part of the Iskul Bukol franchise, depicting its characters 20 years after the end of the original TV series. It is also the fourth Iskul Bukol film (after 1977's Iskul Bukol the Movie, 1980's Iskul Bukol Freshmen, and 1987's The Best of Iskul Bukol: The Movie).

Valmar Castelo Sotto, better known as Val Sotto, is a Filipino actor, singer, composer, and comedian. He was one of the lead vocalists of the Filipino band VST & Company. He appeared as the lead actor in Agila, which aired from 1987 to 1992 on RPN and ABS-CBN and produced by TAPE Inc.

Hagibis is a Filipino disco group best known for their macho image, on-stage costumes, and macho songs about women. Originally formed by Juan dela Cruz Band singer and bassist Mike Hanopol and Vic del Rosario, they are cited as the "first boyband in the Philippines" and later were called the "Village People of the Philippines", a title they still hold to this day. "Rock Baby Rock" is a song by Filipino disco group VST & Company, written by Vic Sotto. It is part of a medley called "VST Concerto in A Minor" on the album VST 3. It was one of the group's biggest hits produced by the band themselves. Sotto said in an interview on PTV's Xiao Time segment that it was his most favorite VST song because he put a lot of effort into it.
