S Club 8 were a spin off of the British pop group S Club 7. The group's original 9 members, Jay Asforis, Daisy Shelvey, Connor Daley, Calvin Goldspink, Stacey McClean, Aaron Renfree, Hannah Richings, Frankie Sandford, and Rochelle Wiseman were all in their early teens or younger when they were chosen from thousands of hopefuls on the television series S Club Search to appear as a support act for pop band S Club 7.

Francesca Bridge is an English singer, formerly a member of S Club Juniors and a member of girl group the Saturdays. Bridge began her career when she auditioned for Simon Fuller's reality television competition S Club Search in 2001, broadcast on CBBC. She successfully auditioned and won a place in the pop group S Club Juniors. Bridge and the rest of the group then starred in their own reality TV show S Club Junior: The Story. Together with the band, Bridge successfully released seven singles and two albums. Whilst in the group, she made an appearance in S Club 7's TV show Viva S Club. The group then began featuring in their own children's musical television programme I Dream. Bridge played a main role in the show and went onto release the duet single "Dreaming" along with fellow S Club 8 member Calvin Goldspink.

ReConnected was a British vocal group that was formed in July 2010, and disbanded in January 2014. The group was formed by three members of the boy band Connected – Max Mondryk and Harry Mondryk, and Matthew Fitzgerald – after the band achieved success during the fourth series of Britain's Got Talent earlier that year, before the Modryks and Fitzgerald chose to split from the boy band and form their vocal group.
The Mend were a British boy band consisting of members Kris Evans, Jay Kontzle and Craig Worsley. They originally auditioned for The X Factor in 2011 but failed to get any further than bootcamp, due to having a management deal. They went on to audition for Britain's Got Talent in 2012 and reached the semi-finals but, after the public vote was invoked, due to the judges' split decision, they failed to go through to the finals. They were then brought back by the judges for the final and finished in seventh place overall. They released their debut single "Where Were You" on 24 March 2013, independently.

His later career saw him presenting television shows Down on the Farm (2015) and Songs of Praise (2017).
