VTV Gujarati is a 24-hour regional news channel in Gujarat. The channel is owned by Gujarat News Broadcasters Pvt. Ltd.
The company is promoted by Sambhav media. The channel enjoys major popularity in rural areas of the state. The headquarters is located at Sambhaav House, Opp. Judges Bunglow, Bodakdev in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. The news channel has an independent web portal VTVGujarati.com which is jointly owned by Sambhav Media and Nascent Info Technologies. [1]
VTV Gujarati emerged from Sambhav media, a media group which was founded by Indian author and journalist Bhoopat Vadodaria in 1986. [ ref]
Mahamanthan was one of the most popular prime time news show of VTV-Gujarati hosted by its then channel head, Isudan Gadhvi. It was started in 2015 by Isudan who hosted it till 2021. It presented discussion among the panelists about various issues and also interacted with the public about their views. It became very popular in Gujarat, especially rural areas. [2] [3]

Bhikhudan Govindbhai Gadhvi is an Indian folk singer and songwriter, known as a proponent of Dayro, a narrative singing tradition of Gujarat. He is a recipient of the Gujarat Gaurav Award of the Government of Gujarat and the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award. The Government of India awarded him the fourth highest civilian honour of the Padma Shri, in 2016, for his contributions to folk music.
Girnar ropeway is a ropeway on Mount Girnar in Junagadh district, Gujarat, India. It is Asia's second longest ropeway. First proposed in 1983, the construction started only in September 2018 due to government approval delays and litigation. The construction and operation is managed by Usha Breco Limited. Local elections were held in the Indian state of Gujarat in 2021. Elections were held for 8,235 seats, with 237 seats having only one unopposed candidates. No form was filled for two seats in Taluka panchayat. The elections included six municipal corporations where elections took place in February — Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, Bhavnagar and Jamnagar – and one (Gandhinagar) in which the elections were held on 3 October. Results to Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation were declared on 5 October 2021.
Aam Aadmi Party Gujarat or AAP Gujarat is the Gujarat state wing of Aam Aadmi Party. It has 64 elected members in the ward councils of Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation, Surat Municipal Corporation and other urban and rural local bodies in Gujarat. The AAP office is located in Navrangpura, Ahmedabad. AAP had participated in the 2017 Gujarat Legislative Assembly election and 2021 Gujarat local elections.
