The Vader Piet Wind Farm is a wind farm in Aruba. It is the first wind farm in the territory.
The establishment of the wind farm was proposed in February 2008. [1] The wind farm was then commissioned in December 2009, making it the first wind farm in Aruba. [2] [3]
The wind farm has an installed capacity of 30 MW, which consists of ten units of 3.0 MW turbines. [4] Each wind turbine tower stands at a height of 80 m. [2] [5]
The wind farm was constructed at a cost of US$75 million. [6]
