Valery Yanchy (born 23 June 1977), [1] also spelled Yanchi, is a Belarusian boxer.
Yanchy is the former European Boxing Union flyweight champion. [2] [3] [4]
He also fought for the European Boxing Union bantamweight title, but lost. [5]

The European Boxing Union (EBU), formerly known as the International Boxing Union (IBU), is a pan-European governing body that sanctions championship bouts in professional boxing. The EBU governs the most-prestigious continental title in Europe, the EBU European Championship, in addition to their EBU EU Championship for competitors from within the European Union and the EBU EE Championship for those outside the European Union. It is a federation affiliated with the World Boxing Council (WBC).
Carl Martin Froch, is a British former professional boxer who competed from 2002 to 2014, and has since worked as a boxing analyst and commentator. He held multiple super-middleweight world championships, including the World Boxing Council (WBC) title twice between 2008 and 2011, the International Boxing Federation (IBF) title from 2012 to 2015, and the World Boxing Association (WBA) title from 2013 to 2015. At regional level, he held the British and Commonwealth super-middleweight titles between 2004 and 2008, and won the Lonsdale Belt in 2006. As an amateur, in the middleweight division, Froch won a bronze medal at the 2001 World Championships, and the ABA title twice.
Andrew Murray is an Irish professional boxer who held the Irish lightweight title, having previously held the Irish light-welterweight title also. He is also a former European Union lightweight champion, and has challenged once for the European lightweight title.

Josh Warrington is an English professional boxer. He is a two-time world featherweight champion, having held the International Boxing Federation (IBF) title twice between 2018 and 2022. At regional level, he held the British, Commonwealth and European featherweight titles between 2013 and 2017. He made history in 2018 with his win over Lee Selby, making him the first male boxer from Leeds to win a major world title.
