Vayk Municipality, referred to as Vayk Community (Armenian : Վայք ՀամայնքVayk Hamaynk), is an urban community and administrative subdivision of Vayots Dzor Province of Armenia, at the southeastern end of the country. Consisted of a group of settlements, its administrative centre is the town of Vayk. [1]
The Armenian language is an Indo-European language spoken primarily by Armenians. It is the official language of Armenia. Historically being spoken throughout the Armenian Highlands, today, Armenian is widely spoken throughout the Armenian diaspora. Armenian is written in its own writing system, the Armenian alphabet, introduced in 405 AD by Mesrop Mashtots.
Vayots Dzor, is a province of Armenia. It lies at the southeastern end of the country, bordering the Nakhichevan exclave of Azerbaijan in the west and the Kalbajar District in the east. It covers an area of 2,308 km2 (891 sq mi). With a population of only 53,230, it is the most sparsely populated province in the country. The capital and largest city of the province is the town of Yeghegnadzor.

A municipality in Armenia referred to as community, is an administrative subdivision consisting of a settlement or a group of settlements that enjoys local self-government. The settlements are classified as either towns or villages (Armenian: գյուղեր gyugher, singular. The administrative centre of a community could either be an urban settlement or a rural settlement.
Yeghegnadzor, is a town and urban municipal community at the south of Armenia, serving as the provincial capital of Vayots Dzor Province. It is located at a road distance of 123 km south of the capital Yerevan, on the shores of Srkghonk River, at a height of 1194 meters above sea level.
Jermuk, is a mountain spa town and the centre of the urban community of Jermuk in Vayots Dzor Province at the south of Armenia, at a road distance of 53 km east of the provincial capital Yeghegnadzor. It was considered one of the popular destinations for medical tourism in the Soviet Union.

It runs through many cities and towns and is mainly known for its beauty. Spandaryan Reservoir lies on the river. The length of the Arpa river is 7.95 mi.

The National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia has plans to turn the cave into a major tourist attraction with cafes, souvenir shops, and trails within the cave to guide tourists.
