Veno Luzon Belk (born March 7, 1963) is a former professional American football tight end who played for the Buffalo Bills in 1987.
Belk was a quarterback at Flint Northwestern High School before going on to play football at Michigan State from 1982 to 1985. [1] [2] Initially recruited as a tight end, Belk would transition to linebacker at Michigan State, earning honorable mention All-Big Ten Conference status. [1]
After college, Belk played for the Seattle Seahawks in 1986 preseason, but was cut before the regular season began. [3] He spent the 1987 preseason with the Atlanta Falcons and Detroit Lions before he was waived by Detroit in August. [3] [4] Belk joined the Buffalo Bills during the 1987 National Football League Players Association strike. [5] [6] He started two games at tight end before being waived in mid-October. [7] He signed with the New York Giants in March 1988 but was cut in August before the season began. [8] [9]
David Michael Stratton was an American professional football player who was a linebacker for 12 seasons in the American Football League (AFL) and National Football League (NFL). He won two AFL championships with the Buffalo Bills, where he was a six-time AFL All-Star. He was named to the AFL All-Time Second Team.
Kellen Boswell Winslow Sr. is an American former professional football tight end who played in the National Football League (NFL). A member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame (1995), he is widely recognized as one of the greatest tight ends in the league's history. Winslow played his entire NFL career (1979–1987) with the San Diego Chargers after being selected in the first round of the 1979 NFL draft. He played college football for the Missouri Tigers, earning consensus All-American honors in 1978. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2002.
Lorenzo Maurice White is an American former professional football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL) for the Houston Oilers (1988–1994) and Cleveland Browns (1995). He was voted to the Pro Bowl in 1992, recording his best season with 1,226 rushing yards and 1,867 yards from scrimmage.
Johnie Earl Cooks was an American professional football player who was a linebacker for 10 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). Cooks was selected by the Baltimore Colts as the second overall pick in the 1982 NFL draft. He played from 1982 to 1991 for the Colts, New York Giants, and Cleveland Browns. He was a member of the Giants when they defeated the Buffalo Bills 20–19 in Super Bowl XXV. Cooks played college football for the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

As a senior, he was a consensus All-American and won both the Butkus Award and the Lombardi Award. He was a first-round draft pick of the Kansas City Chiefs and played three seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2013.
Keith O'Neal Jennings is an American former professional football tight end in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Bears. He also was a member of the Las Vegas Outlaws in the XFL. He played college football at Clemson University.
Raymond Millous Hill was a college and professional American football player. He was a defensive back at Michigan State, and played four seasons in the National Football League (NFL), splitting three seasons between the Miami Dolphins and the Buffalo Bills. He was signed by the New England Patriots as a free agent in 2001, and was part of their Super Bowl XXXVI championship season. He suffered a leg injury during the 2001 preseason, and was placed on injured reserve for the entire season. His younger brother Renaldo Hill, also played in the NFL.
Ernest Jones is an American former professional football defensive back who played in four National Football League (NFL) seasons from 1976 to 1979 for the Seattle Seahawks and New York Giants. He was selected by the Seahawks in the fifth round of the 1976 NFL draft after playing college football for the Miami Hurricanes. After playing mostly as a backup cornerback for the Seahawks in 1976, the Seahawks moved him to free safety during the 1977 preseason, but he was waived before the start of the 1977 season and signed by the Giants. Jones was waived by the Giants during the 1980 preseason and was not picked up by any other team, ending his pro football career. Giants' head coach Ray Perkins said of waiving Jones that Jones could no longer play "at a level of winning football" due to a foot injury he suffered during the 1979 season and added that "I recommended he retire. Getting waived was his choice. I know we spoke to nine teams and there was no interest." According to Jones' roommate and fellow Giants' defensive back Beasley Reece, Jones spent the 1980 offseason working to regain his mobility but wasn't able to.
Gregory M. Jones II is an American former professional football linebacker who played in the National Football League (NFL) and Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football for the Michigan State Spartans, and was a two-time All-American selection. He was selected by the New York Giants in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL draft, and won the Super Bowl XLVI with them. He was also a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans of the NFL, the Toronto Argonauts and Saskatchewan Roughriders of the CFL, and the Las Vegas Locomotives of the United Football League (UFL).
