Venom: Space Knight is an thirteen-issue comic book series written by Robbie Thompson and drawn by Ariel Olivetti. Published by Marvel Comics as the second Venom series to follow Flash Thompson / Agent Venom, spinning out of the events of The Guardians of the Galaxy , the story revolves around Flash as he is appointed the mantle of Agent of the Cosmos, travelling to the furthest reaches of the universe and facing space pirates.
Written with consultation from the Wounded Warrior Project, [1] the series received a generally positive critical reception.
After his time with the Guardians of the Galaxy, Flash Thompson / Agent Venom is appointed an Agent of the Cosmos by a voice in his head, tasked with helping the galaxy's helpless and oppressed, battling space pirates and other threats, acquired a spacecraft, a suicidal robot companion, and gradually a crew, all with a grudge against the space pirate Mercurio. [2]
Following Mercurio's escape, Flash now has a fully-crewed spacecraft, but must face a sudden return of the symbiote's rage. [3]
