Versions is an album by Thievery Corporation, released in May 2006. The album consists of a collection of hard to find remixes done by Thievery Corporation, largely of other artists' material, and the original Thievery Corporation track, "Originality".
Decade is a compilation album by Canadian-American musician Neil Young, originally released in 1977 as a triple album, now available on two compact discs. Join the Dots: B-Sides & Rarities is a box set of The Cure, released on January 27, 2004, by their former record label Fiction. This box set is a four-disc compilation of B-sides and rarities, digitally remastered from their original tapes. The box set includes all B-sides by the band, apart from a number of remixes, as well a number of unreleased songs and songs that had been out of physical circulation for years. Many of the songs had not appeared on CD before. The set includes a booklet with track-by-track commentary and an extensive overview of the band's history up to 2004, followed by an extensive list of The Cure's discography.
The Wired CD is an album that was released in 2004 as a collaborative effort between Wired magazine, Creative Commons, and sixteen musicians and groups. The Wired CD was distributed inside the front cover of the November 2004 issue of Wired, which also featured a variety of interviews and bios of the performers. Unusually, the songs were released under one of two Creative Commons Licenses, permitting sampling and file-sharing of the songs.

The Lost Masters is the name given to an album project to release unheard, rare and extended remixes of songs by the British pop group Bucks Fizz. Two albums were originally released: The Lost Masters in 2006, and The Lost Masters 2 - The Final Cut in 2008. A third single-disc volume was released in April 2012 as a double-pack which included a re-release of the group's 1986 album Writing on the Wall. Finally, The Best of The Lost Masters, a 25-track compilation was released in April 2013, which also included a number of previously unreleased mixes.

The Best of Van Morrison Volume 3 is a compilation album by Northern Irish singer-songwriter Van Morrison, that was released on 11 June 2007 in the UK with a digital version released in the U.S. on iTunes Store, on 12 June 2007. Manhattan/EMI Music Catalog Marketing released the CD version of the album on 19 June 2007 in the United States. This new two-disc collection of 31 tracks has been compiled by Morrison himself. It offers an overview of his large volume of material since the release of The Best of Van Morrison Volume Two in 1993. The album's thirty-one tracks include previously unreleased collaborations with Tom Jones and Bobby Bland as well as duets with John Lee Hooker, B.B. King and Ray Charles. The 2003 duet with Ray Charles is "Crazy Love" a song originally recorded on Morrison's 1970 album Moondance. "Blue and Green" was previously donated to be used on the charity album Hurricane Relief: Come Together Now, which raised money for relief efforts intended for Gulf Coast victims devastated by hurricane Katrina. The duet with Tom Jones, "Cry For Home" was taken from the same recording sessions that produced the "Sometimes We Cry" duet between the two artists, which featured on Jones' successful album Reload. "Cry for Home" was released as a single on 4 June 2007 in the UK, and was followed by "Blue and Green" on 27 August.
B Sides and C Sides is a compilation album by the American punk rock band Rancid. It was first released online on December 11, 2007, followed by a standard release on January 15, 2008. It contains a number of B-sides and rare songs as well as compilation or soundtrack appearances plus 4 previously unreleased songs. The set spans from 1992 to 2004, therefore it doesn't include any songs recorded with current drummer Branden Steineckert.
