Vesania (Latin for "insanity") was a Polish extreme metal band formed in 1997 by Orion, Daray and Heinrich. [2] Later members were Annahvahr and Hatrah, who left the band in 1999 and was replaced by Siegmar.

Their first release, Moonastray, was a split with Black Altar, released in 2002 by Odium Records exclusively in Poland. The release was limited to 666 copies and each CD was signed with blood. 2003 saw the release across Europe of their first full-length album, Firefrost Arcanum , by Empire Records. This was followed by the departure of band member Annahvahr. Their second album, God the Lux, was released in April 2005, and shortly thereafter Valeo (Sammath Naur, Mortis Dei) joined the band as lead guitarist. [3] [4] Their third album, Distractive Killusions , was released in 2007 on Napalm Records, from which came their first single "Rage of Reason".

The vocals include screaming and low growling. [5]

William Caldwell "Rocky" Gray is an American drummer and guitarist. He is a guitarist for the bands Living Sacrifice, Even Devils Die, and Creepy Carnival, and the drummer for Soul Embraced, Mourningside, Machina, and We Are the Fallen. He played drums for Evanescence from 2003–2007 and Fatal Thirteen from 2006–2014, and was a guitarist for Shredded Corpse (1991–1998) and Solus Deus (2012–2017). Future Leaders of the World is a rock band formed in 2003 by singer and guitarist Phil Taylor, drummer Carl Messina, and bassist Toby Cole, in Buffalo, New York. Their debut album, LVL IV, was released in 2004. With a new lineup, the band was renamed Machina in 2005. They released another album under the Future Leaders of the World name, Reveal, in 2015.

<i>God the Lux</i> 2005 studio album by Vesania

God the Lux is the second full-length album by Polish symphonic black metal band Vesania. It was released on 25 April 2005 through Napalm Records. It was recorded in various points of time between September 2004 and January 2005. The drums, guitars and vocals were recorded at the Hendrix Studio in Lublin and engineered by Arkadiusz "Malta" Malczewski. Recordings for the bass guitar took place at the Kokszoman Studio in Warsaw and were engineered by Marecki and the keyboards were recorded at Siegmar's home studio by himself.

Distractive Killusions is the third full-length album by Polish symphonic black metal band Vesania. It was recorded at Studio X in Olsztyn, Poland by Szymon Czech and Vesania. The record was mixed and mastered at Studio X by Szymon Czech and Orion with virtual assisitance of Siegmar. The album was released worldwide in November 2007. A limited edition digipak version was also released, containing two bonus tracks. This is the first album with Valeo as a real band member. The album was originally released under Napalm Records but was released under Mystic Production in Poland.

Deus Ex Machina is a Singaporean death metal/thrash metal band, and is one of the few extreme metal acts from Southeast Asia that has gained a following in Europe and the United States. They represent a rarity in the Southeast Asian Metal scenes in favouring a more melodic musical approach and concept-based poetic lyrics in contrast to the more aggressive and brutal stylings of the region. They are also a highly internationalized band, with a background of having band members from different parts of the world.
