Vicious is an upcoming American horror film written and directed by Bryan Bertino. It stars Dakota Fanning, Kathryn Hunter, Mary McCormack, Rachel Blanchard, and Devyn Nekoda.
A woman spends the night fighting for her existence as she slips down a rabbit hole contained inside a gift from a late-night visitor.
In February 2024, it was reported that a horror film written and directed by Bryan Bertino titled Vicious was in production at Paramount Pictures, with Dakota Fanning in the lead role. [1] [2] Principal photography began in Ottawa, Ontario on March 22, 2024, and wrapped on May 10. [3] In April, Kathryn Hunter, Mary McCormack, Rachel Blanchard, Devyn Nekoda, Klea Scott, and Emily Mitchell rounded out the cast. [4]
The film was originally scheduled for August 8, 2025 [1] and February 28, 2025, [5] before being removed from Paramount's release schedule in December 2024. [6]
The Running Man is a dystopian thriller novel by American writer Stephen King, first published under the pseudonym Richard Bachman in 1982 as a paperback original. It was collected in 1985 in the omnibus The Bachman Books. The novel is set in a dystopian United States during the year 2025, in which the nation's economy is in ruins and world violence is rising. The story follows protagonist Ben Richards as he participates in the reality show The Running Man, in which contestants win money by evading a team of hitmen sent to kill them.
Josh Segarra is an American actor. He is known for his roles on the television series The Electric Company, Sirens, and Arrow as well as for originating the role of Emilio Estefan in the musical On Your Feet!. His other television credits include Chicago P.D., The Other Two, AJ and the Queen, Orange Is the New Black, and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, while his other theatrical credits include the musicals Lysistrata Jones and Dogfight, and the slasher horror film Scream VI.
