The Victoria County Board of Education (VCBE) is a former school board in the Canadian province of Ontario. The board oversaw several schools in the Victoria County area until 1999, when it was amalgamated into the Trillium Lakelands District School Board. [1]

Lindsay is a community of 22,367 people on the Scugog River in the Kawartha Lakes region of south-eastern Ontario, Canada. It is approximately 43 km (27 mi) west of Peterborough. It is the seat of the City of Kawartha Lakes, and the hub for business and commerce in the region.

Omemee is a community within the city of Kawartha Lakes, Ontario, Canada, formerly known as Victoria County. Located on Ontario Highway 7, which is the Trans-Canada Highway, Omemee is one of the communities in the Kawartha Lakes, as the proclaimed "city" is vastly rural and has but one major population centre. The community had a population of 1,247 in the Canada 2011 Census. It is located between the city of Peterborough and the community of Lindsay. Lindsay is the largest population centre in the city of Kawartha Lakes, and serves as the administrative centre as it did with Victoria County.

I.E. Weldon Secondary School is a public high school in Lindsay, Ontario, Canada, which teaches grades 9, 10, 11, and 12. It is operated by the Trillium Lakelands District School Board. The school contains 60 rooms for rent, over 200 classrooms, 2 gymnasiums, a fitness center, a multi-media library resource center, and specialized areas for music, drama, art, cooking, woodworking and shop. It is also home to one of the largest French immersion High School programs in Canada. There are currently 1671 children enrolled.
View Lake is a small village located in Ontario, Canada. It is situated on the boundary of the Regional Municipality of Durham and the city of Kawartha Lakes, on the southern shores of Lake Scugog. The village was unincorporated in Victoria County prior to the formation of the city of Kawartha Lakes in 2001, and continues to have a very small population. It contains two small parks, and in the past, contained a train stop near its general store.
