Victoria Hogg (born 15 June 1983) is an English singer and songwriter.
Victoria Hogg was born in Darley Dale, Derbyshire, England.
She was discovered at the age of 15 after playing at a music seminar at Sheffield's Red Tape Studio. [1] and was signed by Chrysalis Music and London Records. Her first performance upon signing with London Records was her joining the 1998 Lilith Fair at the Jones Beach venue in New York City. Kevin Bacon and Jonathan Quarmby (Bacon & Quarmby) produced much of her work as did Ian Stanley formally of Tears For Fears.
Singles were released but despite critical acclaim, they did not reach a significant chart position, but the song "Fall" received airplay on alternative UK radio stations and frequently on BBC Radio 2. The single was supported by a video which featured on The Box (UK TV channel). [2]
Her work was generally positively received on release including The Times [3] Comparisons were made with Billie Piper, but due to the lack of sales the recording contract was terminated.
Chrysalis Music did keep faith, and Hogg's later collaborations with James Dearlove produced a song titled "Voodoo Moon", which was included on the soundtrack for the 2006 film, Love and Other Disasters , which starred Brittany Murphy. [4]
Hogg re-established her relationship with her former management and a band was formed "Victorialand" to showcase the new songs. An album called Chrysalis was produced for promotional purposes and had the following track list:

Meshell Ndegeocello is an American singer-songwriter, rapper, and bassist. She has gone by the name Meshell Suhaila Bashir-Shakur which is used as a writing credit on some of her later work. Lisa Jane Stansfield is a British singer, songwriter, and actress. Her career began in 1980 when she won the singing competition Search for a Star. After appearances in various television shows and releasing her first singles, Stansfield, along with Ian Devaney and Andy Morris, formed Blue Zone in 1983. The band released several singles and one album, but after the success of Coldcut's "People Hold On" in 1989, on which Stansfield was featured, the focus was placed on her solo career.

The melody is based on "Plaisir d'amour", a popular French love song composed in 1784 by Jean-Paul-Égide Martini. The song was initially written from the perspective of a woman as "Can't Help Falling in Love with Him", which explains the first and third line ending on "in" and "sin" rather than words rhyming with "you".

"Full Moon" is a song recorded by American singer Brandy for her third studio album of the same title (2002). A breakaway from Rodney Jerkins' dominating influence on the album, it was written and produced by Mike City, one of the few producers Norwood worked with on Full Moon apart from Jerkins and his production and songwriting crew. Described by Norwood as "ghetto", the track is an R&B and pop song with a simple, piano-led production. Lyrically, the song follows Norwood as she experiences love at first sight in a nightclub, whose circumstances she attributes to a full moon night.

"Gold" is a song by English new wave band Spandau Ballet, released on 5 August 1983 as the fourth single from their third album, True. The song was written by the band's guitarist/songwriter Gary Kemp as an homage to the film themes of composer John Barry that was especially influenced by his scores for the James Bond series. This was apparent to some music critics, but they were sharply divided in their reviews. Some appreciated the energy and drama behind it while others found it affected and overwrought. The discography of Indonesian-born French singer-songwriter Anggun consists of eleven studio albums, two soundtrack albums, three greatest hits albums, seven single compilations, 38 singles and 20 music videos. Anggun began performing at the age of seven and recorded a children's album two years later. Her debut studio album, Dunia Aku Punya, was released in 1986 under Billboard Indonesia, but did not achieve commercial success. Her popularity was later established after the success of the single "Mimpi", which was listed as one of the 150 Greatest Indonesian Songs of All Time. With the release of subsequent singles and three more studio albums— Anak Putih Abu Abu, Nocturno and Anggun C. Sasmi... "Soul Survivor" is the third single release from British singer-songwriter Beverley Knight's sixth studio album, 100%. The song is a duet with soul singer Chaka Khan. The song received a full digital download single release on 8 March 2010. There are two versions of the song, the album version and the radio edit, which halves verse one of the song.
