Etymology

This metro station is named after Victoria Memorial Home (Saroornagar-e-Mahal), constructed in 1901 by Nizam, Mahbub Ali Khan, Asaf Jah VI. [1] It is located near Sri Khilla Maisamma Temple. [2]
