Vidushi Mehra (born 16 September 1978) is an Indian actress who mainly works in Hindi films. [1] [2] She is known for her works in Aisha (2010), 7 Khoon Maaf (2011), Trip to Bhangarh (2014) Moh Maya Money (2016), Collar Bomb (2021) and Dobaara (2022). [3] [4] [5]

Career

She started her career in 2010 by portraying the role of Sonam Kapoor's sister Aalia Burman in romantic comedy movie Aisha. [6] [7] In 2011, she played the role of Chetna in Priyanka Chopra starrer 7 Khoon Maaf . [8] The movie also featured John Abraham and Irrfan Khan in lead roles. [9] In the same year, she also appeared in No One Killed Jessica , starring Rani Mukerji and Vidya Balan. [10] In 2013, she played a role in Tusshar Kapoor starrer Bajatay Raho, directed by Shashant Shah. In 2014, Vidushi featured in horror thriller film Trip to Bhangarh as Priestess. [11] In the same year, she also featured in Fugly by Kabir Sadanand. [12] In 2016, she starred in Moh Maya Money as Bhavna, alongside Ranvir Shorey and Neha Dhupia. [13] [14]

In 2017, she played a cameo in Raees, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. [15] [16] In the same year, she was the part of the Indian adaption of David Hare's play Skylight and Molley Sweeney by Rehaan Engineer. [17] In 2021, she played a key role in web series Collar Bomb as Sarah Fernandes, starring Jimmy Sheirgill and Rajshri Deshpande. [18] [19] In 2022, she featured as Shikha Vats to play a lead role in Taapsee Pannu starrer Dobaara, directed by Anurag Kashyap and produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. [20] [21] [22] In the same year, she was roped in for ALTBalaji's sci-fi web series Blackwoods [23] and Navjyot Gulati's Pooja Meri Jaan.

The film tells the story of a femme fatale, Susanna Anna-Marie Johannes, an Anglo-Indian woman who causes six deaths in an unending quest for love. She was a real woman and lived in Bengal. Her grave is situated in Chuchura, district town of Hooghly.
