Vikki Hubbard (born 13 July 1989) is an English high jumper.
She was born in Grantham and attended Cliffedale Primary School before being in the form Bronte at Kesteven and Grantham Girls' School. She was good at table tennis at school and was part of the school team.
She finished seventh at the 2005 World Youth Championships, and competed at the 2006 World Junior Championships and the 2010 World Indoor Championships without reaching the final. [1]
Her personal best jump is 1.92 metres (indoor), achieved in February 2010 in Split. [1]

A four-time Olympian, she is the 2008 Olympic bronze medalist, the 2005 World Championship silver medalist and the 2012 World Indoor gold medalist. She initially finished sixth in the 2008 Olympic high jump final, but was promoted to the bronze medal in 2016 after three competitors were disqualified for doping. She is the American record holder in the women's high jump with an outdoor clearance of 2.05 m in 2010, and holds the indoor record with a clearance of 2.02 m in 2012.

She won the Honda Sports Award as the nation's best female track and field competitor in 2002, which qualified her as a nominee for the Honda-Broderick Cup, awarded to the best overall female collegiate athlete in 12 sports. She has been an Olympic and World champion, has been ranked #1 in the World, has been the #1 American pole vaulter since 2006, and has won a total of 17 US National Championships. She holds the world indoor pole vault record at 5.03 m. She holds the American women's pole vault record indoors. In 2008, she won the U.S. Olympic trials, setting an American record of 4.92 m and won a silver medal in the Beijing Olympics. She won the gold medal at the London Olympics on August 6, 2012. Track & Field News named her American Female Athlete of the Year for 2008.
Shannon Solares-Rowbury is an American middle-distance runner from San Francisco, California. After competing collegiately for Duke University, she turned professional in 2007. Rowbury has represented the United States at the 2008, 2012, and 2016 Summer Olympics, winning a bronze medal in 2012, becoming the first American woman to win an Olympic medal in the event. She also represented the United States at the World Championships in 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2017, winning the bronze medal in the 1500 meters in 2009. In 2015, Rowbury helped set the world record with the U.S. team for the distance medley relay event, and set a then-American record for 1500 meters on July 17, 2015, breaking Mary Slaney's 32 year-old mark with a time of 3:56.29.

She won gold at five internationals – the 1980 Nebelhorn Trophy, 1980 Grand Prix International St. Gervais, 1981 Skate America, 1982 Skate Canada International, and 1982 Ennia Challenge – and silver at the 1982 U.S. Championships. De Vries was also selected to compete at the 1982 World Championships in Copenhagen, Denmark, where she finished seventh. She trained in Colorado Springs, Colorado. De Vries was one of top US women's skaters of the time period, but injuries slowed down her career, and she was left off the 1983 World team and was unable to compete in 1984.
