Villa Park is a city in Orange County, California, United States. It was incorporated in 1962. As of the 2010 Census, the city had a population of 5,812, the lowest population for a city in Orange County.

The Bermejo River is a river in South America that flows from Bolivia to the Paraguay River in Argentina. The river is generally called Bermejo in spite of its different names along its way, but it also has its own Native American names; in Wichí it is called Teuco, and in Guaraní it is called Ypitá. In the plains of Argentina's Gran Chaco the Bermejo forms wetlands and splits into two branches. The southern branch is the bed of the old Bermejo River, now an intermittent stream called Río Bermejito. The northern branch is now the main stem of the Bermejo and is called the Teuco River, Bermejo Nuevo, or simply the Bermejo River. The two branches rejoin at 25°39′S60°11′W, near Villa Río Bermejito, forming the Lower Bermejo River.

The population grew from 52,886 to 71,146 during 2001 to 2012 according to the census. Only 8,692 of the population are urban and are concentrated in the small towns of Villa Tunari (3.213), Eterazama (3,359) and Villa 14 the Septiembre (2,123). The municipality is famous for tourist especially the Villa Tunari town where the tourist industry is concentrated with infrastructure, and also because of the closeness of the Machia Park.

Rancho Temescal was a farming outpost of Mission San Luis Rey de Francia, one of the 21 Franciscan missions established in California by Spain during the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The Mission was located on the coast where Oceanside, California is today. The Rancho was settled in 1819 by Leandro Serrano, and became the first non-native settlement within the boundaries of what would become Riverside County, California.
