Vincent Rocco (born June 26, 1987) is a Canadian-born Italian professional ice hockey player who is currently playing for IF Troja/Ljungby in the Swedish second tier HockeyAllsvenskan ice hockey league, previously playing for Alleghe Hockey in the Italian top tier Serie A. [1]
Prior to turning professional, Rocco attended Niagara University, where he played four seasons with the Niagara Purple Eagles men's ice hockey team which then competed in NCAA's Division I CHA conference. In his third year (2007–08) he was named to the CHA First All-Star Team.

College Hockey America (CHA) is a women's college ice hockey conference in the United States. It participates in the NCAA's Division I as a hockey-only conference. The conference is made up of six teams, with three in Pennsylvania; two in New York, and one in Missouri.

Craig Richard Norwich is an American former professional ice hockey player. Norwich led the Edina East High School hockey team to the prestigious Minnesota State High School League Hockey Tournament three times, including captaining the 1974 championship team. In college, Norwich became the second defenseman in NCAA history to lead his team in scoring and win the NCAA Championship in the same season. As a professional he played in 145 games with the Cincinnati Stingers of the World Hockey Association and 104 games in the National Hockey League with the Colorado Rockies, Winnipeg Jets, and St. Louis Blues.
The 2008 CHA Men's Ice Hockey Tournament was played between March 14 and March 16, 2008 at Dwyer Arena in Lewiston, New York. By winning the tournament, Niagara received College Hockey America's automatic bid to the 2008 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Tournament.
Dave Burkholder is a Canadian college ice hockey coach and former college player. He coached the Niagara University program from 2001 to 2017, taking over from Blaise MacDonald, a former teammate of his with the RIT Tigers. Burkholder also previously served as the assistant general manager and assistant coach of the Niagara Falls Thunder of the Ontario Hockey League.
The 2008–09 Mercyhurst Lakers women's ice hockey team represented Mercyhurst College in the 2008–09 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season. The Lakers were coached by Michael Sisti and had a 16-0 record in their conference. Assisting Sisti were Paul Colontino and Louis Goulet. Mike Folga was the Head Equipment Manager. The Lakers qualified for the Frozen Four and were finalists in the 2009 NCAA Women's Ice Hockey Championship. The Lakers went 16-0 in conference play last season en route to their seventh-straight CHA Title. From 2002 to 2009, the Lakers were 74-3-5 in the regular season against CHA competition and 14-0 in the postseason.
The Mercyhurst Lakers women's ice hockey team is the hockey team that represents the Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pennsylvania. The program started in 1999 and Michael Sisti has been the only coach in the history of the program. From 2000 to 2002, the Lakers were part of the Great Lakes Women's Hockey Association. While in the Great Lakes Women's Hockey Association, the Lakers qualified for the GLWHA tournament twice. The Lakers were regular season champions in 2000–01 and 2001–02, and won the playoff championships in 2002. For the 2002–03 season, the Lakers joined the College Hockey America conference.

The Robert Morris Colonials men's ice hockey team was a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represented Robert Morris University. The team played its home games at the Clearview Arena, located at the RMU Island Sports Center in Neville Township, Pennsylvania, United States. The Colonials were a member of the Atlantic Hockey Conference. Until the 2009–10 season, the Colonials were a member of College Hockey America.

Alabama–Huntsville defeated hosts Niagara, 3–2, in overtime to win their second CHA Tournament title.
