Hemanth Kumar, better known by his stage name Darshan Thoogudeepa or simply Darshan, is an Indian actor, film producer and distributor who works predominantly in Kannada films. In 2017, he was the highest paid actor in Kannada cinema. Darshan established the production house Thoogudeepa Productions in 2006. Its first production was Jothe Jotheyali, with Darshan in a special appearance. His performances in Anatharu (2007) and Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna (2012) won him praise from critics; his performance in the latter as the 19th-century warrior Sangolli Rayanna won him the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Actor.
Jothe Jotheyali is a 2006 Indian Kannada-language romance film directed by Dinakar Thoogudeepa and produced by Meena Thoogudeepa. The film stars Prem and Ramya. The music for the movie was composed by a debutante music composer V. Harikrishna. The film's title is based on a lyric of the song "Jotheyali Jothe Jotheyali" from Geetha (1981).
V. Harikrishna is an Indian film score and soundtrack composer, playback singer and film producer. He has mainly scored music for Kannada films. After his stint as a programmer and assistant musician, Harikrishna made his debut as an independent composer in actor Darshan's first production venture Jothe Jotheyali in 2006. Since then, he has been scoring for majority of Darshan's films besides working for many other leading production houses. He owns an audio company called "D-Beats" established in 2013 and produces music under his own company starting from the film Bulbul (2013). He has turned into a director with the 2019 Kannada film 'Yajamana'.
Prem Kumar, known mononymously as Prem, also popularly called as Nenapirali Prem, is an Indian actor and producer who works in Kannada films. He made his acting debut through the film Praana (2004). However, his major break came through the film Nenapirali (2005) for which he won his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor. Since then, Prem is largely offered films with romantic theme thereby, earning the title Lovely Star in Kannada cinema. Prem also produced the film Pallakki (2007) besides acting in the lead role.

Tharun Kishore Sudhir is an Indian actor and filmmaker who predominantly works in the Kannada Cinema. He made his directorial debut with the multistarer Chowka which was a commercially successful movie. He is a recipient of one Filmfare and two SIIMA Awards for best director.
Life Jothe Ondh Selfie is a 2018 Indian Kannada-language romantic drama film directed by Dinakar Thoogudeepa and written by his wife, Manasa Dinakar. Produced by Samruddhi Manjunath under Viraat Sai Creations banner, the film was released across Karnataka, India on 24 August 2018. Starring Prem, Prajwal Devaraj and Hariprriya, it also features Dhananjay and Sudharani in a supporting role. The film score and soundtrack are composed by V. Harikrishna and the cinematography is by A. R. Niranjan Babu. The film travels along the journey of three friends who face different situations as they travel along.

Kiss is a 2019 Indian Kannada-language romantic comedy drama film directed by A. P. Arjun and produced by V. Ravi Kumar under Rashtrakuta Pictures. It is the second Kannada-language film after A 2nd Hand Lover (2015) to be inspired by the 2004 South Korean film 100 Days with Mr. Arrogant. SIIMA Award for Best Male Debut – Telugu is presented by Vibri media group as part of its annual South Indian International Movie Awards, for the best acting done by an actor in a leading role in his debut Telugu film. The award was first given in 2012 for films released in 2011.
Dinakar Thoogudeepa, mononymously known as Dinakar Thoogudeepa, is an Indian film director, actor and producer who works mainly in Kannada films, who started his film career as an actor from the movie Ayyo Pandu in 2004 later he worked as assistant director for few Kannada movies. He become full-fledged director from the Kannada movie Jothe Jotheyali in 2006.

Royal is a 2025 Indian Kannada-language romantic thriller film directed by Dinakar Thoogudeepa, written by Raghu Niduvalli and produced by Jayanna Films. The film stars Viraat and Sanjana Anand in lead roles, along with Raghu Mukherjee, Chaya Singh, Rangayana Raghu and Achyuth Kumar in key supporting roles.
