Virginia's 57th House of Delegates district elects one of 100 seats in the Virginia House of Delegates, the lower house of the state's bicameral legislature. District 57 consists of parts of Charlottesville and Albemarle County. Following the redistricting after the 2020 Census, the district was moved to include areas of Goochland County and Henrico County. It has been represented by Republican David Owen since 2024 after he narrowly won the seat in the 2023 Virginia House of Delegates election [1] . Beginning on January 14, 2026, it will be represented by May Nivar. [2]
