Virginie Lemoine (born 26 February 1961) is a French actress and comedian. [1]

Career

Virginie Lemoine attended acting school at the Conservatory in Rouen. From 1982 to 1990, she acted in stage theater, and regularly participated in the show Ainsi font font font, hosted by Jacques Martin on France 2. In 1991, she became a radio host in the show C'est aussi bien à l'ombre and Le Vrai Faux Journal. In 1992, Laurent Gerra and Lemoine became a comedy duo and appeared in many television shows, becoming very popular. [2] In 1997, they won the Molière Award for best one-man show for their show at the Théâtre Déjazet.

Since 1999, she has acted in several theater productions and also directed several plays. In 2010, she received a nomination for the Molière Award for Best Musical for creating Une diva à Sarcelles, a musical that she wrote and directed.

She is best known for playing Marion Ferrière, the lead role of the TV series Famille d'accueil, broadcast on France 3 from 2001 to 2016.

Personal life

Lemoine was married to actor and singer Alexandre Bonstein. Through her marriage with him, she also has Swiss nationality. [3]

From 1991 to 1997, she was in a relationship with Laurent Gerra. [4]

She currently is in a relationship with actor Darius Kehtari. [5]
