The film stars Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Singh and Rakesh Roshan as college students, who play a prank and get involved with a notorious criminal. The film turns quickly from fun and frolic to a taut thriller. Iftekhar and Aruna Irani also star in the film. The film was remade in Malayalam language as Aruthu (1976), in Hindi again as Khiladi (1992), and in Marathi language as Bindhast (1999).
Bhagam Bhag is a 2006 Indian Hindi-language comedy film directed by Priyadarshan and written by Neeraj Vora. It was produced by Sunil Shetty and Dhilin Mehta under their banners Popcorn Motion Pictures and Shree Ashtavinayak Vision Limited. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Govinda and Paresh Rawal as the three leads alongside Lara Dutta, Rajpal Yadav, Jackie Shroff, Arbaaz Khan, Shakti Kapoor, Manoj Joshi, Razak Khan, Sharat Saxena and Asrani. The film adapted certain subplots of the Malayalam film Mannar Mathai Speaking which itself was based on the 1958 film Vertigo. The film was remade in Telugu as Brahmanandam Drama Company.
Talaash: The Hunt Begins... is a 2003 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film starring Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor. It is directed by Suneel Darshan and produced by Pahlaj Nihalani.
Taarzan : The Wonder Car, or simply called Taarzan, is a 2004 Indian Hindi-language supernatural action thriller film directed by Abbas–Mustan. The film stars Vatsal Sheth, Ayesha Takia, and Ajay Devgn, while Farida Jalal, Pankaj Dheer, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Amrish Puri, Shakti Kapoor, Gulshan Grover and Mukesh Tiwari play supporting roles. Upon release, the film was a box office disaster but gained popularity among children and television audiences. It is loosely based on the American film Christine (1983). This also marked the debut of Ayesha Takia, for which she won the Filmfare Best Debut Award.

The film takes up an urgent and disturbing issue of death during surgery and is based on a real-life incident where a boy dies on the operation table due to medical negligence. The shooting of the film started after nearly one year of research and similarities to real life are in this case, not coincidental. The movie released on 14 June 2013 and made a profit of 2.5 Crores approximately. It was declared semi hit.
