Visoki Kurji vrh (1822 m), also just Visoki vrh is a peak in the Western Karawanks in Slovenia. [1]
The Črni Vrh Observatory is an astronomical observatory located in western Slovenia, close to the settlement of Črni Vrh, near the town of Idrija. The current observatory was built in 1985 and stands at an elevation of 730 metres (2,400 ft). Much of the construction was done by volunteers.

The area of today's Visoko is considered to be a nucleus from where Bosnian statehood was developed in 10th century. The expanded valley of the river Bosna around today's Visoko was the biggest agriculture area in central Bosnia, so fertile ground around Visoko was ideal for development of early political center of Bosnian nobility.
The Old town of Visoki was a medieval royal castle town built during the 14th century on the top of the hill overlooking town of Visoko, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The first mention of the town was on 1 September 1355, in the charter "in castro nosto Visoka vocatum" written by Tvrtko I of Bosnia while he was a young ban. The town was presumably abandoned before 1503, as it is not mentioned in the Turkish-Hungarian treaty from the mentioned year. In 1626, Đorđić mentioned Visoki among abandoned towns.
Briše pri Polhovem Gradcu is a dispersed settlement just south of Polhov Gradec in the Municipality of Dobrova–Polhov Gradec in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia. It lies in the valley of Little Creek on the road from Polhov Gradec to Lučine and includes the hamlets of Škofijski Hrib, Zavrh, and Štebavnik. It is surrounded by Praproče Hill and Mount Polhov Gradec to the north, Little Peak to the west, Big Hill to the south, Kladnik Hill to the southeast, and Zvonščica Hill to the east.
Trupejevo Poldne is a peak in the Western Karawanks, on the border between Slovenia and Austria. From the Slovene side it is accessible from the settlement of Gozd Martuljek via Srednji vrh. From the Austrian side a road from the village of Tetchanting, south of Villach, from which it gets its German name, leads to mountain pastures under the peak. It gets its Slovene name from the Trupej farmstead to the north of the summit, on the Austrian side. It is visited by hikers and is also suitable for ski touring in winter and spring.
Rožič Vrh is a settlement in the hills west of the town of Črnomelj in the White Carniola area of southeastern Slovenia. It is the oldest hiking track in Europe.

Darwish Pasha al-Kurji was an Ottoman statesman who served as wali (governor) of Sidon in 1770–1771 and Damascus in 1783–1784. He was the son of Uthman Pasha al-Kurji, who was of Georgian origin.
