Rock Steady is the fifth studio album by American rock band No Doubt, released on December 11, 2001, by Interscope Records. The band began writing the album with initial recording sessions in Los Angeles and San Francisco, then traveled to London and Jamaica to work with various performers, songwriters, and producers. Sly & Robbie, the Neptunes, and William Orbit were among the many artists the band collaborated with on the album.

Aaagh! is the second album by the Irish funk-rock band Republic of Loose. It was released on 7 April 2006. At a cost of €70,000 to make, it was their most expensive album to date. Sunday Tribune journalist Una Mullally called it "one of the most original and progressive Irish albums ever made". Aaagh! reached number two in the Irish Albums Chart, going platinum in the process, it received regular airplay on Irish radio and produced five singles, including "The Idiots", a song about Mick Pyro's former girlfriend which also features her on vocals. "Break" made top forty singles chart in South Africa, and was temporarily banned by South African radio station 5fm, when a female DJ declared on air that it promoted anal sex without contraception, a comment which led to several complaints from listeners.

He has also partaken in other independent work with fellow Irish and international musicians and performed a duet with Sinéad O'Connor at the 2008 Meteor Awards where she revealed her admiration for his vocals. He has also written for the Irish Independent. Pyro is known for his distinctive singing and his bearded appearance.
Bounce at the Devil is the fourth studio album by Dublin band Republic of Loose. It was released on October 8, 2010, on Fish don't fear nets records. It was recorded at Wrightway Studios in Baltimore, Maryland, and the additional recordings were done at Mule Studios, Dublin. The album received critical acclaim. They also received an IMRO award for Bounce at the Devil going to number 1 in the Irish Independent Chart, the album also peaked at number 10 in the Irish music charts. Bo Starks made an appearance on the song "99". "The Man", "99" and "The Blah Bounce" were released as singles.
